I have a Canon 2X extender that I use on a Canon 70-200mm 2.8 L lens. Would this extender work on a Tamron 150-600mm G lens? Thanks.

I have a Tamron 150 to 600 G lens. It did not work with my canon extenders. I needed to buy a recent design Tamron 1.4 extender for the G2. That seems to work well.

Be aware that Canon TCs do not work with the Tamron 150-600 G2. If you want a TC with the Tamron, you will need to buy a Tamron brand TC.

I am asking for predictions for the date of the headline Trump Indicted!!
My prediction is March 18,2018.
Let us play :).

I wish the title of the articles included the authors. I would not waste anymore time opening your idiotic posts.

I updated by opening Lightroom, then under the Help menu click on updates, then close Lightroom, and then click on the upgrade to “Lightroom Classic CC.”
I did not install the new “Lightroom CC” which is the cloud version, since it is only partially functional. This is probably what some in this thread consider the “lite” version.

I have been using Lightroom Classic for about two weeks. I don’t see anything “lite” about it. It has retained all the functionality that I used in the previous version. I have not yet used any of its new functionality. It is much faster when stepping through and quickly looking at a large number of photos. I believe there is no reason to delay upgrading to the Classic if you can use this additional speed.

I have used Lightroom classic for a few days now. For my usage, the basic image editing functions are no different than the previous version. With more time, I no doubt will use some of the new features.
However, I noticed that when rapidly stepping through a number of pictures with the arrow key, the response is much faster than with the ptevious light room. So someone who has a lot of pictures and wants to look through them quickly will appreciate Lightroom Classic.

I have not seen very much anger at Adobe for pulling the plug on Lightroom 6. I guess they made enough money off of us that they feel that we are no longer relevant. I am investigating alternative packages and I was curious to know what any has come with. I like what I see in Luminar Neptune but they are no longer offering trial packages. Others that have interested me are Affinity Photo, and ACDSee Photo Studio which looks a lot light LR. I would like to hear back from members. Thanks,

You are wasting your time. CC Classic is a bargain. It is a powerful and reliable catalog and image editing program available at a modest monthly cost.

Be sure to join a local camera club. For me that was a great way to meet like-minded retired photographers and exchange ideas about cameras, lenses, post processing, and all kinds of information related to photography.

I suggest you check the dates on the stuff you post. The second article is dated April 1, 2016. The data is much better this year.

Hi. I just bought it on eBay.
I'm looking forward to playing around with this stuff. Trying to get into focus stacking.
Regards, Augie.

If you are just looking for a photo viewer and not something to modify photos, why not just use the Windows 10 Photo app? RIght click on one of your jpgs and choose Open with, then Choose another app. Select Photos and click on the always use box.

The windows 10 Photos app offers some editing ability. But it's really great feature is that it can open RAW images (at least from my Canon cameras.)

God, you progressives are paranoid! For cabinet members and department heads, Trump has chosen people who have been very successful in a variety of professions. These guys are not gullible government bureaucrats who have been influenced by environmental extremists. Do you think they got to their positions by destroying our air water and soil? None that I know of. They probably will relax some of the more onerous environmental regulations that cost our economy thousands of jobs. I suggest you quit being influenced by the progressive media who create fake news and one sided analysis because they are still upset that their beloved Hillary did not win.

I have four favorites for four different uses: 17-40 for group-party pictures, 24-105 for every day general purpose, 100-400 for birds and other telephoto, and 100 for macro.
