Thank you Rich - I was able to get several different shots as evidently the fly was REALLY enjoying the lavender!! I was tickled with this particular shot as to the clearness and color of the fly. I love doing macro photos - there is something about the detail that strikes me.

Interesting regarding the glare, I definitely like the sounds of glare elimination. The Z980 is a wonderful camera, but I am anxious to check out all of the capabilities of the SX50 and compare the two!

Just joined UHH a few days ago. I currently own a Kodak Easyshare Z980 and have just purchased a Canon Powershot SX50 HS after looking at the SX500 IS (was not impressed with the 500).
I hope to learn quite a bit here and hope to share a lot of what my eyes and camera see.
