I was very happy with these photos that I shot my first time out with the Canon SX50HS. I usually shoot with the Canon 50D or the Canon EOS5d. I recently purchased the sx50hs to just use as sort of a toy. I'm very impressed with it however, I wasn't expecting to get photos like these with it. I see that lots of people ask questions about this camera. I think it's a great camera to own..

I shot both photos of the Wood Duck in Aperature mode. The settings on the first shot were ISO 200 @ f6.5 @1/125th sec @215mm. The second photo was ISO 200@ f6.5 @ 1/80th sec @ 200mm

Very nice!
I must be the only one who wasn't impressed with the SX50 that I bought :( Used it for a couple weeks, then returned it.
But it's nice to see others getting great results!

Great shots. Kudos. Photographic skill is at least as critical, if not more so, than the equipment used!
