These are really beautiful. I went out with a new pocket camera but didn't get anything close to that. I really have to experiment with my camera. I never even got a good manual with it. The one that came with it was next to nothing. It's a samsung D-50.

Thank you! I was going through the state park and noticed a guy setting up a telescope (barrel about 3-4 ft long, looking to be approx 6-8 inch diameter) and wondered what he was getting ready for. Then as I started toward the exit I saw the bright, large ball start to rise! Had to sit and wait as it come up.
Only thing wrong was I didn't set up a tripod.... These were all hand-held, straight out of camera with no cropping or pp!
