After 50 years of Photography, I decided to take a photo course at the local college. At the time of enrollment, I had take about 50 truly great shots throughout the years. After the course, I had taken only a handful of truly great shots.
The customer is always right.
Buy what brand your friends and aquantances have. Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc are all reputable brands. So look at where you can get quick help.
I review the JPG and work the RAW. The computer cycles the JPGs a lot faster than RAW.
You using Apple or Microsoft? Apple use CMD( the Apple ico). Microsoft use Cntrl.
The one that most people, or the more knowledgeable people close to you have. Close help is great.
Local college Photo lab has been using it for years. I like it.
Taking a cold lens into a high humidity area can give you a hazy picture when there is no haze.
I also remember walking to school instead of riding-- and it was two miles, uphill both ways.
A slit piece of foam water pipe insulation placed on the partially opened car window makes a good monopod when shooting from an auto. It's cheap and minimizes engine vibration effects on the camera shutter.
Some like their food cooked rare, some like it cooked well done. I like the photo.
I haven't tried it, but it hear a circular polarized filter works great.
Use it and love it. Especially like the layering capability.
