Sorry I did not get this as a joke. A cleaner in surgery? I will give you one more try Neville
Night out? But where are the people?
Your lucky, there was a total ban on drink for this night.
Was great seeing a huge engine coming to life and puffing steam. Would like to see one in retirement, but unlikely unless I win a lottery
Great shots, but your Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 was not listed at the bottom of all the photos?
It is sound advice as how else can you improve your skills if you do not continue to practise. But, taking photos without some meaning and learning from experience is more important than wasted clicks. To improve photography skills treat your camera as if shooting with film.
And I thought Ugly Hedgehog was a forum for photography discussion, instead it has developed into a bible bashing forum. Can we keep such subjects to the pulpit
I am a member of a club of 300 members and here is what we do. Photo contest on a set subject and have a visiting professional visit to be a judge, have two A and B grades and photos can be submitted as "open" when they are not set subject, photos are given points to determine a winner at the end of the year, have field trips, get a professional to give a talk on "know your camera", get a experienced photographer to give a talk on interesting subjects such as photo manipulation. Most of all, make sure the club is active as it will fail if there is not enough activity.
Down here it is 10.00 pm Thursday 29 May and instead of following your instructions to-morrow had to do it now. SUCCESS

Thanks RAMBLIN21. will give your suggestion a try. Due to our time zone you may not hear from too soon, but will respond when I have followed your suggestion. Thanks

All suggestions welcomed..

Thanks Walt, it worked just fine. One further problem. Both Topaz and Nik will not work on the photos. Any suggestions or are they meant to work on other than original negatives etc. Neville
