Thanks. Brought back memories. I've stood in the middle of it and looked down. One of our group zip lined across the gorge. Not me, no way!

It's the RAPE OF AMERICA. Packages getting smaller and price increases. And the corporations are getting fatter.

So, I heard about the Doctor that need the services of a plumber. Plumber came and did the job and handed the doctor the bill.
Doctor: "I'm a Doctor and I don't make that much for 15 min. work."
Plumber: "I didn't either when I was a Doctor."

After 63 years, I still have the girl. Wish I had the Ford also.

I purpose a new section for AI pictures (I don't consider them photography). I have no interest in them and it would help me avoid even opening those posts.

Thanks for the link. Really enjoyed them. I took lessons from an army Sargant at Ft. Crowder, MO. Played with the military prisoners' band a few times. Was just getting into learn arranging when he was transferred. That ended my lessons.

I still have my horn. A Conn 48B Connqueror Bb vocabell. Dad bought it as I remember about 1955 for $125. Haven't played it for a long time, but can't give it up. Last time I tried it, I had lost my lip. 83 years old now. Probably too late to start again.

I still have the C-3. It was my first 35mm camera. Have the telephoto lens with it. In the early days, I could not afford an enlarger, so I made one. Post of wood with a wood light box that slid up and down on a dovetail. Used the bellows from an old camera, attached the C-3 lens to it and went to work. Light source made exposure a little slow, but it worked.

Forgot to mention that my first and only enlarger, I made it from wood. Dovetailed the stand so the light box would slide up and down. Used an old bellows from a discarded camera and used the lens from my Argus C3 (which I still have). Was slow and a little awkward to use, but it worked.

That's interesting GHS58, I'd be interested in seeing some of your work. I find Elements a good way of passing time and learning new things is always welcome.
God Bless

Sorry, I don't have any left. All disappeared due to several moves. I was only doing it as a hobby. The local photographer was furnishing me old photos to use. I do remember the most difficult one that I did. It was a 11x17" of a soldier in uniform with numerous metals on his chest. Put a lot of time in on that one.

Interesting. But I used to do it with pencils especially made for coloring portraits. Still have them around somewhere. The sepia toned pictures worked much better that the black and white.
