Last summer and I put my dog in my van and we drove over to the park when I got there I open the side door to let the dog out and somehow my sigma 300 to 800 lens come tumbling out the door and out of case, the end that connects to the camera smashed into the edge of the granite curb and I saw the endcap shatter first thing that went to my mind was this is going to cost hundreds if not thousands to fix I put the dog in the park got my camera tripod and gimbal had hooked everything up and it worked fine. This past December I was not quite as lucky I was in Detroit in my tractor trailer and I was outside the truck, I reached up onto the driver seat to grab my D 4 S with a Sigma 24 to 70 attached picked it up and brought it down to take a picture and the lens fell off the front and shattered on the cold Detroit concrete, All was not lost however that gave me an excuse to go out and buy the latest Nikon 24 to 70 with VR and that is my go to lens I could not live without a 24 to 70

I also have had the same problem with 9.1 but is not just us, I was searching there site because of the problems and they made mention of the problems they were having.

GoofyNewfie, thank you for the Grammar advice, sometimes after working another 14 hour day and being on the road for weeks at I time I get a little tired and don't bother to check my post, I know I should but I was laying down on my back in the sleeper with the computer on my chest and I was just to tired. I have been trying to do this post for two weeks but every night it was the same old thing get some sleep and hit the road in the AM. No time for fun and games.

I just bought the new Nikon D4s and have been using it a lot when I tried to open files in LR5 they would not open so I looked for downloads and found one that worked great now, my problem is I can't open any raw files in Windows 7i have been looking for upgrades to download but not much luck I did find one but not sure if that is what I was looking for I think it was a upgrade for the camera, when I bought my D600 I had the same problem and had to download a codec file and that worked great, I am not sure if that is what I wiil have to do for the D4. Could use a little help here, Thanks all.

I have the same problem real bad, I just bought the Nikon D4s I am sure that I will have a lot of fun with it, I am not dreaming I liked it so I bought it, am not proficient with any of my cameras, cthahn what is the problem if they want a new one I thought this was a great till I read your wise remark I have four cameras and countless lens, but I have a great time with them, maybe I am dreaming also but, you seem to be stuck in a lousy mood and want to make others feel the same. mel go buy it and enjoy your life you only have one.

I was down in Texas for work and had a few days off so I went out looking for birds and really wanted to find at least one Pelican, as it ended up I found hundreds over the course of two days.

Hi Planepics, they will let you do that, I have in the past.

I came upon a small pond today with a lot of Ducks in it and, there was a sprinkler in the middle and the Ducks were taking turns having a shower on the rock and this guy stops to get a drink of water.

I was out yesterday trying out my new lens, when all of a sudden this Seagull dives in the water and comes back up with the Crab for dinner, very interesting watching the way he ate it.

I was up the North Maine Woods a few weeks ago and the color was awesome.

Thank you Lenny, I will be in there soon, have you been to the top of the Custom House Tower, it is a dream up there on the 26th floor outside open to the public at 6:oopm it cost $7.50 and you get a free soft drink in the old historic counting room.

Hi Lenny, Could you tell me where you were standing to get this shot, I tried shooting the bridge from the Custom House Tower but could not get good trail lights. Thanks Mike fstop 22 nice shot.
