I was in my back yard trying to launch a kite.
I threw the kite up in the air, the wind would catch it for a few seconds, then it would come crashing back down to earth. I tried this a few more times with no success.
All the while the wife is watching from the kitchen window, muttering to herself how men need to be told how to do everything.

She opens the window and yelled to me,
'You need a piece of tail.'

I turned with a confused look on my face and yelled back,
'Make up your mind. Last night, you told me to go fly a kite!'

I was thinking about making a fitness movie for folks my age, and call it "Pumping Rust".

When people see a cat's litter box, they always say, "Oh, have you got a cat?" Just once I want to say,"No, It's for company".

Employment application blanks always ask who is to be notified in cases of an emergency. I think you should write, "A Good
doctor"!

I was thinking about how people seem to read the Bible a whole lot more as they get older. Then, It dawned on me. They are cramming for their finals.

As for me, I hope God grades on the curve.

The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight, because by they your body and your fat have gotten to be really good friends.

The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement.

He who hesitates is probably right.

If you smile when things go wrong, you have some one in mind to blame.

Lord, keep your arm around my shoulder and your hand over my mouth and Lord, please take care of B&H, Adaroma and all the other sellers out there, especially MT. AMEN

I was thinking about how a status symbol off today is those cell phones that everyone has clipped onto their belt or purse. I can't afford one. So, I'm wearing my garage door opener.

You know, I spent a fortune on deodorant before I realized that people didn't like me anyway.

I was thinking that women should put pictures of missing husbands on beer cans!

I've gotten that dreaded furniture disease. Thats when your chest is falling into your drawers!

Birds of a feather flock together and then poop on your car!

A penny saved is a government over site.

Did you ever notice. When you put 2 words "The" and IRS together it spells "Theirs….."

When you are dissatisfied and would like to go back to your youth, think of Algebra.

Lord, Keep your arm around my shoulder and your hand over my mouth and let the UPS truck continue to visit my house. AMEN

Canon SX50. Edits in Picasa and PSE 12.

1. Aperture priority, ISO 80, f/7.1, 1/400 sec., equiv. 61 mm angle of view. Several edits and effects, but I forgot what

2. The sharpest 2400 mm I've achieved. In-camera 2x teleconverter, no crop. Leaned against the guardrail :) ISO 160, f/6.5, 1/320 sec.

3. Location of the eagles' nest. Aperture priority, shot in raw, but then decided to play in Buzsim and more.

Really a wonderful set Linda. The third shot i think for me, is the best.

The attached images were shot over the past few months with the OMD-EM5 and the Olympus 70-300mm lens. The link below provides information from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department regarding the Fox Squirrel in Texas.

Enjoy the images and try the DLs...

I did enjoy. Pretty little critter and so smart. Sorry about the double post.

I saw this old blue Toyota whilst I was at the river to video some river dolphins (they didn't show up). The van is my mobile camera shop, lol. I travelled right around Australia in it 5 years ago. Rather than stay at organized camping sites, I usually found my own place on a creek/river bank somewhere. I loved it. Please feel free to download.

Would like to download the van to my garage.

I have an FZ200 and download from the card directly into LR5. To download to a new folder select "somewhere else" for the file destination, navigate to where you want and click "New file", then choose it.

Thanks 76---I have a ranch that I down load to so I can keep all my wildlife stuff that I take there. I also found Graham Houghtons youtube sight and that has really helped me to get familiar with the camera thou' I don't have it in my grubby little hands. I understand that the instructions that come with the camera are not good. Perhaps you could give me some info on this camera especially the set up. Again thanks so much for your help.

I'm not sure if I understand the question, put here goes...if you remover the card from the camera and place it in the Mac than yes you can import directly to Lightroom. If you want to download the images from the camera to the Mac you would only need a USB cable that would allow you to so. Not sure this answers your question.

Thanks gs-- I hope I can because the camera is in a brown truck somewhere. Might have been quicker by PonyExpress.

I have ogled and googled and just about every thing else trying to find out if I can down load the SD card to Mac and Light room. Perhaps I am not clear in my question --so here is what I do.
1. Take the card from my camera and place in my Mac.
2. Down load the card into a specific place in Light room. I shoot raw. Can I do this with the FZ200 or do I need some other device to get into light room.

Welcome Gene! You will be very pleased w/ your purchase. I also own a FZ200 and have taken many pictures w/ it. We'd love to see your pics in the future.

Mojoni-- I wonder if you could answer a question for me. Can you download the Card to Light room and a Mac computer? There seems to be some problem here --or is it.

Canon SX50.

#1 shot in burst mode at equiv. 1200 mm - cropped, a bit of pp.

#2 is an unedited jpg. I also shot in raw but haven't been able to pp to look very good (yet).

Focal length equiv. 1200 mm.This might be the sharpest I've achieved at that distance. I'm sure the light helped with focus :) Aperture priority at f/6.5 with -0.7 exposure compensation, 1/1000 sec. ISO 250.

Really nice stuff here Linda. Nice background and detail.
