Just a thought. I find Nikon manuals lack in many ways. Try looking for Magic Lantern guide for your camera model. I find them quite helpful and just good common sense information.

Looking in the classifieds here. Someone asked for a shutter count. My question is two fold.
1) How do you get a shutter count?
2) How do you get the count (max) for a particular camera?

I agree, astounding. Her subject matter is so average, something or someone we all have done. She used light and elements to create a feeling or an emotion. Truly a gifted artist when it comes to composition and to the craft itself. The lesson here is this; we do not need an array of equipment. Just a willingness to look at our own surroundings and interpet them. I also suggest you follow her Flickr link.

Soon after I joined UHH I always see an "urgent message" When you scroll down it is for an e mail and some virus protection. I DO NOT want any of that. Will I see the urgent forever? :roll:

I also am very new to Hedgehog. I find it refreshing that the people are truly friendly and not trying to impress you with knowledge. Seem to be quite helpful. Good luck and don't be afraid to post!
