Looking for a program I can drag and drop photos into a slide show. i want to be able to add my own music. Any suggestions?
There are probably some free programs out there but I use ProShow Producer.
ProShow Gold is a less-expensive program by the same company.
You can check them out here:

Not sure if they are compatible with Mac though.

Looks very nice. I will see if anyone comes up with something else. Thank you.
There are a lot of entries under the search function (second line from the top):

Windows DVD Maker allows you to do nearly everything some of these slide show programs do and you do not lose sharpness or resolution. I tried several programs and there was always a loss in clarity. Windows DVD Maker records exactly as you see on your computer and makes DVDs you can play anywhere.

Yep, Windows DVD Maker, no bull, free and easy to use...
I've had a lot of fun with PowerDirector. Costs about 60 bucks and you can lay down multiple photo, video and music tracks.

Wondershare Slide Show Creator
ProShow Gold and Producer not only support photos, but also video clips. The ability to edit video clips and to manipulate added music make both of these fine choices if you're into wanting to do more than just have some music in the background.

I bought ProShow Gold and very much enjoy its simplicity and capability. I create slide shows with music and voice-over very easily with ProShow. I highly recommend it.
Lightroom does a credible job too.
