I used BBF on every Nikon I have owned and now on the Canon 1DX. Steve Perry has a great youtube video on how and why you use this setup. Once you get use to it, you will never go back to conventional ways. Good luck and great shooting!

You might should put this in the "main photography section" to ask this question. I have the 1Dx and just sold my Sony, however, not the A9. The 1Dxii is a plus on the 1Dx. Good luck!

Took all the photos of our daughters wedding and all were pleased with the results. Yes, there are moments you wish you could have gotten that perfect shot, but you just have to move on. Yes, not everyone cooperates as you would like, but again, you have to move on. Glad I took on the responsibility and ended up producing 2 great albums for both families to enjoy.
As you can see, different poses can produce great results.

I use both Optech and Black Rapid and have no problems with either. As far as attaching to the tripod mount, just how many times a day do you use your tripod? It takes me about 5 seconds to remove the screw from the bottom of the camera. Just not a problem that would justify not buying. As far as weight, I have carried my 300 f2.8 on a D4 with screw attached to the lens foot. No problems with weight on the screw. Hope this helps!

And yet the left seems to have no problem with that! Unbelievable and sad!

Do a little research...the meme is grossly mistaken...

Why don't you do a little research and realize that climate change has happened since the earth was created. Those of us who believe in God understand that it will be God who decides what will be our final demise, not the myths that are created to fund large deposits of cash for people like Al, I invented the internet, Gore! If I were you, I would be more worried about muslims coming into this country with the resolve of our extinction.

I've said something similar for many years,
and while I totally believe that climate change is real,
I'm a total skeptic when it comes to the
scientific community telling us, the people who will pick up the bill, for something they can't "measure", including the human impact to date. !

Cookie; hang on to the 70-200! Great lens and you will regret selling it. I would move to the 100-400 canon for those long shots. Looking at getting one myself. Good luck!

I did a video on BBAF and it's helped a lot of people understand exactly why they need it and what the advantages are (and how to set it up too). Check it out:

When I was shooting Nikon, I watched Steve's video and it is well worth watchin it. I have used BBF on all my camera's. Only way to go!

Hi, Obwan!

Consider visiting Cody, if you have an extra day.
When we visited YS a few years ago, and CODY was not in our itinerary. We made a spur-of-the-moment decision to visit CODY because we were almost done in Yellowstone. Much to our surprise, by-ways are very picturesque.
We even stopped to do a horse back-riding at one of those stalls along the highway--this is if you like to be taken all the way up to the hills and watch your horse trek those (not so) narrow trails. It was a great experience for me and my sons. My guide told me later that the horse I rode on was a tamed :(-
Horse back-ridding + picturesque byways = worthwhile! Not sure though if others who had been to CODY feel the same. :)-

I will second Cody and Chief Joseph hwy. The Beartooth is worth the drive as well out of North Yellowstone.

There will be photo opportunities around every corner! The Grand Teton Lodge is a good place to start. In Yellowstone, just get off the beaten path once in a while and take in the beauty. A week there won't do it justice! My 70-200 got a work out! Enjoy!

I'be used Fred Miranda for quite a while.
You do have to pay a fee for listing, but it's reasonable.
The exchanges I' s had as a seller and a buyer have been excellent.
