I'm looking to find sister, other than eBay, to advertise used equipment for sale. For example I recently upgraded my big zoom to the sigma 105-600 and have my gently used tamron 200-500 to sell. I know I can send it to adaroma and they will give me a quote, but to be honest I believe I can get more on a private sale (they naturally give less than they will sell it for in order to make a profit, no argument with that, they have to make money). I figure that there are some sites dedicated to enthusiasts that have for sale sections. My apologies if this is not an appropriate topic for UHH
KEH in Georgia is a good place to buy and sell used photo gear.
I'be used Fred Miranda for quite a while.
You do have to pay a fee for listing, but it's reasonable.
The exchanges I've had as a seller and a buyer have been excellent.

more and more camera gear is showing up on Etsy.com. It is a sales listing site, with fixed pricing and nearly non existent fee structure. I sell there, and my bank account is the funding mechanism, with sales payments going directly to my bank when I transfer the proceeds available. It is not strictly a photo gear site, but a platform for all merchandise. It used to be somewhat craft oriented, but the items for sale listings are growing. It is not auction, but fixed price.
Easy to set up and modifiy.... the listing price is .20 cents for 120 days. As mentioned fees unbelievably low.
I use both eBay and now Etsy.

Look at ebay, check the "Sold recently" box down the lower left. Then advertise them here for a similar price.

Your best bets are this site and Ebay.
In addition to the sites mentioned, DPR has a "For Sale and Wanted" section that is very good.

You can even list your equipment on the UHH in the Classifieds (For Sale) Section.

Etsy is a site for hand made or items which are at least 20 years old. Its a crafters site.

Tried that, didn't work. Still had to sell on eBay. And some items sold for more on eBay than what I was asking for it here.
Are you on Photo.net? I've been on that site for several years and have purchased stuff on there. You're always dealing directly with the person (hopefully). You can list "for sale" and "want to buy" posts.
