One of my daily tips from The Family Handyman. Actually, they recommend this as an impromptu mallet.

Another tip: If you need a long match, but you don't have one, use a piece of spaghetti. NOTE! It must be uncooked! 🤣

The easy way: soak in Dawn solution overnight. It softens baked on debris making the job much easier.

Meanwhile Biden, via the EPA, has ordered all natural gas- and coal-fueled power plants to reduce emissions by 90% between 2035 and 2040, or be closed down. (Again the Executive acting as Legislature.)
What will be the new source of electricity to power all of the EVs that Biden and his controllers envision we will have by that time?

I'm sure solar and wind will be powering EVs! Another PLAN that was not fully thought through before launch.

Joe Biden is jamming this down Americans' throats?
Americans buying E-Cars because of incentives and because it is the modern thing... same reason I purchased my Ford Mustang convertible in 1964.

Biden is pushing the installation of charging stations to remove the reason people are reluctant to buy an E Car. Tesla leads in the design of reliable stations that will charge any brand of E Car. The long run economy of owning an E Car is attractive and is getting better with improvements and price cuts.

Did Presidents Taft and Wilson shove gasoline powered Cars down peoples throats from 1910-1914 to get rid of horses and buggies? NO! Nor is Biden shoving E Cars down American throats.

What about NASCAR and Formula One? Can you imagine the soon to be run Indy 500 having to use electric vehicles?
Really Top Gun, is this a reason to make a law to ban E Cars? How many Americans drive in NASCAR and Formula One? Times Change. Can you imagine the quake when Ford introduced the V-8 ? Sport can set their rules. We all know that E Cars would win the Pikes Peak run.

Top Gun "don't stand in the door way" as warned Nobel Poet laureate Bob Dylan who sang about... "Times Are a Changin' "

You didn't mention that about half of our electric power comes from coal and natural gas. That's how Biden's charging stations will be powered.

BE damn let McCarthy have his way. So what we end up in another 1930's Depression.

You don't understand economics do you. The excessive spending programs of the current admin are the primary drivers of current financial mess we are in. Rising prices, higher taxes force the economy into depression and, ultimately, recession. Because excessive spending is at the root of current situation, the solution has to include cuts in spending tp avoid more debt.

Yep. Just like everyone knows we should not use fire of any kind to cook food, especially gas. This also means
no fire for heat in winter.
Also, everyone knows that no more than a quart of water (cold) water should be used for bathing and laundry.
Laundry should be done only with a tub and a washboard by hand. No detergent. Sand only.
It is common knowledge that the world will end in 10 years if we do not follow these rules.
I have a few ideas for where some plug-in charging stations could be installed.

Looking for ideas for organizing a toolbox. I have an old toolbox, similar to the one pictured below, in which I have dumped a collection of hand tools accumulated over the years. Problem is any time I need something it seems like it's at the bottom of the box and I need to pull everything out to find what I'm looking for. My tool collection is fairly basic - philips and flat head screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, tape measure, glue, scissors, a small level, assorted nuts, bolts and screws, etc.

I have two such boxes. One for open and box end wrenches of both metric and SAE. The other is for large sockets. I use plastic shoe boxes for other tools. For small hardware items I repurpose pill bottles. Just my suggestions.

On Panasonic Lumix cameras? To my knowledge, Lumix firmware updates only ADD compatibility with larger and faster cards, up to the limit of what the processor can handle. They don't take away base specifications. That is the exact pattern I've seen with my old GH4. It can take larger cards than the original manual indicates. But it can't use some of the more exotic ones that later cameras can use.

Manual supplements and updated, searchable PDF manuals are usually found on manufacturer web sites. I've been downloading them for 20 years.

Using larger capacity or performance cards may not deliver advertised speed in the camera. Actual speeds are reduced by the camera processor to levels governed by the processor, not the card. The camera will function normally but the fast card will not be used at its full potential.

How many here would vote for our vice president in the upcomming election were she to run for office and if so; why? No stupid sarcastic remarks please. Just base your answers on what you believe to be commendable accomplishments during her tenure as Vice President.

She should not be president. She is not smart, she has not accomplished anything notable, and looks like she would not have strong support from her party. She does not favorably represent our country on the world stage. That's just for starters.

Thanks Biden.

Banks are putting aside increased amounts in reserves to cover the risk of more borrowers failing to repay their debt.

High inflation is eroding consumer's savings and causing them to fall behind on loan payments.

It is also "eroding" hard earned savings in retirement plans. So older retirees may not live to see their investments recover from Biden's failed economy. He is guilty of ready, shoot, aim and not fully understanding the consequences of his policies.

Remember when you had to replace and adjust the points? I hated adjusting points. Spark plugs had to be cleaned and changed more often, but I could usually buy them for $1.00 or less. My Fit has 78,000 miles with the original plugs, and I still get 50+ mpg on a trip. They recommend changing them at 100,000, but I'll change them this summer.

Oh yes. Adjusting the points changed the dwell which, in turn, changed the timing, which changed the idle speed. And then repeat. Never got it perfect but close enough. Tuning is a lost art. Today the computer does it.
