Very nice. I'm too new to be a critic, but I like #s 2 & 3.

oof= out of focus, As another newcomer to the Hog I've noticed that participants here "love" their little abbreviations. Most of them I figure out ..eventually.. but it makes the posts difficult to understand, at best. At worst they are merely unintelligible 😑.
Welcome, and good luck with your better half πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ!

Very nice series, I'll bet that took quite an effort...and patience.

All speculation...ALL! Why not learn to play 'jacks' or operate a yo-yo, something far more productive than whining!

What is the "subject" of the picture(s)? If birds are the subject, then I prefer the tighter crop in both cases. If, on the other hand, the subjects are the branches and berries...?

Yuck! Nice pose, lighting, etc; but those tats make me gag. An otherwise nice image though.

If you head east you will miss the best part of Oregon, which is its coast. If you insist on going east, ignore I-84, instead cross the I-205 bridge into Washington and drive Hwy 14 east. In Idaho my advice would be "go north" depending on how "early" it is in the spring; it may went still be snow covered, but notmuch to see in southern Idaho. jmho
