In looking at my Audubon books, it could very well be a Sharp-shinged Hawk. Right coloring, white eyebrows, banded tail, etc. Check with some of your local birders. Very fine photo!

With Sam's Club printing I'm unable to print any size jpg file originaly shot with my Canon 5DSr. These files are processed RAW and converted/compressed to jpg in Photoshop CC, as are printable I've shot files shot with my 5D, 6D and Fugifilm XT1. Only the files originally shot with the 5DSr are unreadable by SAM's printing kiosk. I've tried compression to multiple reduced file sizes with no effect. What am I missing?

If the first file s raw file, the reader won't continue reading at all. At least that's my experience.

We were there in June. Took photos in the Cathedral, La Boca, lots of buildings, fountains, etc. It was winter, so the light was not highest contrast type. We had fun, though.

I gave a mounted and framed photograph to a co-worker that I took of her husband with 2 of their great grand-kids when they were visiting a few months ago. I do candid portraits of my own grand-kids & have gotten pretty good at it after a lot of trial and error and practice. She loved it and I'm sure she meant no disrespect when she said "that must be a really good camera". Bet I'm not the only one who has been on the recieving end of a 'complement' like this! :) :)

I'bet it wasn't a Kodak Brownie, though!

wellheim: That doesn't happen any more than could be expected by coincidence. There are millions of prayers being said every day. We only hear about the very few, that what's being prayed for happens. No body jumps up and down about the others.

Nagy: Right. It would be very easy to prove statistically if prayer works. A significant percentage of Christians pray whenever they are ill. They even ask their friends on Facebook to pray for them. If prayer worked, religious people would live longer than nonreligious people. Those who insist prayer works, please provide the data.

Check out National Geographic Nov. 07 edition on blue zones. Only one site in the United States where it's documented that religious people live 10 years longer than the mean for the rest of the U.S.

In using the SX50 and checking the exif data on my RAW image it says "Number of AF points 9" and above it says "AF Point Selected - Single Point AF". I know you can move the AF point/frame around, but does the SX50 pave the ability to select Multiple AF points to be active instead of just one? I have read through the manual several times in learning to use the features of the camera, but I don't ever recall it mentioning being able to have more than one AF point active at a time.

What I remember about AF is that you can choose all or any one of the points in the viewfinder.

Will this happen to me all at once at the hour and minute I was born or will it be a gradual process?

So to me that looks like 3 colours! Are you saying my original reply was incorrect!

Maybe a correct way of describing a colour rather than by giving it a name should we to call it (for example) Red 50% / green 30%/ blue 20% or red 70%/ blue 30 % which would be a more accurate explanation of the colour than say "Teal (ex?)

I stick by my original answer, I'm not to sure about "brilliant" but for one thing I was correct. if you would of asked how many shades of colour in this chart then what ever # there is would be correct (I can't be bothered to count)

Again-So to be sure on this you are saying my answer of "3" was incorrect!

Probanly the best answer is that there are 3 PRIMARY colors, but an almost infinite number of combinations of those three.

When I was in the Army and stationed in New York City, I found that a lot of stores on 42nd St. were junk stores, that the merchandise was way below good quality. All the guys that I knew called them "gyp joints." If you buy from 42nd St. Photo, you will in ALL likelyhood feeled swindled with the deal. B & H are much better to deal with, and I think you'll feel better with their service than 42nd St. Good luck with your photography!
