It's been said that a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work. I subscribe wholeheartedly to that idea. Here are a couple of shots that depict nature & relaxation places.

Looks like a great day on the water to me.

I almost missed this guy; he was escorting a few hens through the underbrush. Check out how difficult he is to see. Please check the download.

I'm hidden, and you can't see me.

I took a photo in which the background was in sharp focus and the main subject in very soft focus. I performed some PP in Photo Elements 12 to see if I could sharpen the subject, no luck other than bad luck and a lack of skill. So here is an example of what not to do.

Looks like my typical luck.

FUJIFILM X-S1 Various exposures for changing light.
Somewhat rainy and plenty windy, but I wanted to get out and take a few shots. So, I strolled around the yard looking for subjects and here is what I found. Except for the flower (Iris) which was shot with macro setting, all the others were full telephoto @ 624mm equivalent. Please try the downloads and I hope you all like the results.

Beautiful shots. Love em.

I saw this little hen cardinal in the feeder this morning. She was obviously enjoying her breakfast.

Very nice, what kind of bird is this? He's very pretty.

This is my original post from this morning and I monkeyed around with photoshop elements 12 for the second shot. Please let me know what you all think.

The original shows clear, brighter shots, I like that one the best.

Snap shots of sunsets here in central Florida. I also played around with Photoshop Elements 12 to doctor one of the photo's just for fun.

I love weather shots, especially the colorful cloud shots. Thank you. These are great.

Catching good shots of birds in flight takes real talent and great equipment. Catching pollinators on the wing requires an additional attribute called LUCK! My Loquat (Japanese plum) trees are in full bloom and the pollinators are working over time to make sure I have a good crop. I hope you enjoy these.

These are some great shots, thanks for sharing.

Taken through my kitchen window with Olympus SP-570UZ. This was when the sun started shining on the mountain.

Always yummy, explosion or not. And when it's the grands helping out, makes them twice as much fun.

Sparrows were flocking to my bird feeders for their free handout and some moved to the grapevines and posed for me.

Top 2 pics looks like the male is standing guard over the female just below him. These are very neat shots. Love them.
