As I'm sure many will agree, thanksgiving is a day of fun, family, food, and football. From the fun category, my granddaughter was told to get marshmallows for the sweet potato casserole. No one told her it should be miniature marshmallows, so the results were somewhat volcanic. It was hilarious, we all had a good laugh and the casserole still tasted great. Always looking for a good laugh and hopefully a good picture to record it.

That is delightful! Like the time I left the giblets in their wrapping inside the turkey while it roasted :)

I did the same thing! :) Mine were miniature, but I used too many and not only that, I left it a bit too long and they got really toasty. The consistency was a bit like the marshmallows in cereal, but, the sweet potatoes were still yummy!!

We always use regular-sized marshmallows - just don't pack them densely! Was this casserole microwaved?

Bet it tasted really good, Jim! My dil's mother uses those big marshmallows on her sweet potato casserole, and it's good!
