In the market for a new monitor for photography. Looking for something around 23" as I will be buying two for side by side use, the thin frame appears attractive for this use. My price range is $200 - $250. Appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you, Doug
With the help of all, printer is now performing well. The advice of performing the cleaning and alignment a number of times solved the problem, I could track the progress. Thanks to all. DMF
Wow, I have received a number of replies providing a lot of good information. I sincerely appreciate the help. Several things to try and ideas for purchasing the next printer. Thanks to all.
While I cannot say, "never clog", this has not been a major problem. I really have nothing to compare cartridge life with.
I do not believe the problem is in the monitor as the images look great, just having problems with the prints.
The print colors appear similar but do not come close to original, does not have a smudge appearance. I have had clogged ink heads when sitting without use some time, quickly solved by running a cleaning cycle. The prints resulting from the clogged heads show with lines across the print.
Thanks you, I will check subscribe, this helps a great deal. Thanks again.
Making a lot of high quality prints I have always used Epson photographic printers. I did have a problem with one printer, finally gave up and purchased another Epson, problems did not occur too often. I now own an Epson 3880 with sever problems, the printer is not that old. As I will be purchasing a new printer thought I would check to see if others have experienced problems with Epson? Should I be considering a different brand, if so, who? Doug
Thanks, I will check now.
The previous question about memory card speed prompted me to check. What I learned is that I do not understand the symbols and script on the card?
Sue's site is worth a look, very nice. DMF
I sincerely appreciate all of the feedback, this helps and provides me a place to start. DMF
In deed. I am not familiar with either brand, will spend some time researching. Thanks, DMF
Should I typically expect one brand have better performance or does it vary by lens type? DMF
Thank you, this helps. As I am not familiar with either Tamron or Sigma, I do not know what performance I can expect from either. DMF
