Brooms Head.....which is where???
I find them to be too 'bouncy', too 'stretchy'.
It's certainly an interesting technique and the results are just my style. I'm envious (very)!
Did you sharpen this shot ?
I shoot sunset all the time with a tele and I never use a tripod. You're going to be shooting at a fast shutter speed, over 1/500, so overexposure is going to be your problem.
Why are the verticals vertical and the horizon is so tilted ?
Whats that got to do with Speedlights ?
Too much concrete & pavement.....not enough wood & water :)
I've been shooting with a SLR since '68 and have more than a few lenses. I was sooo happy to be able to change lenses back in '68; now, 50 yrs later, I'm shooting with the 18mmx 400mm Tamron and I'm totally satisfied with the quality of this glass, the reach....and I'm sooo happy that I don't have to lug and change lenses and bags anymore. I shoot 3 times a week in a dimly lit and varied live theatre setting and I'm very impressed with the shots that I'm getting. Nice colour too . Highly recommended.
Buy a book...read that book !!
I often set my focus with auto and then flip my lens into manual...being careful not to touch the focus ring afterwards. Quick fix :)
That's what I do...3 folded legs...one longer than the other 2:)
That should set you up correctly.
