Since many years I used several 35mm and mid format cameras - Mamyia, ZenzaBronica and at last Leica M3 and Leica M6. Couple of years ago I decided to go “digital” and bought a Samsung NX 300 which I liked very much due to the small size. I shoot mostly portraits and boudoir for private models. Since Samsung discontinued the NX program I just got a new Nikon D7200. So with this “monster” of various settings and amazing possibilities I’m now an “apprentice” again, but as I’m not a newcomer I positiv and excited about my possibilities.
Very good camera. There are a lot of good sites out there that talk about it and a few have some key settings that make it easier. For the most part, it is good as is. You'll have fun learning it.
Welcome. You will love your new camera.
the 7200 is what I am currently using. I think you will find it does things with color and light, especially low light, that your previous cameras
did not.
Welcome to the forum. The D7200 is indeed a nice camera that will serve you for well into the future.
Learn to use your new camera. The D7200 from what I know is an excellent tool.
