Thanks. The trouble was Ethan's cousins were playing the latest X-Box or similar game on the tv and it was Ethan's turn next!

Thanks. Ethan would *not* look at the camera because the tv was on but it doesn't look too bad I think because his cousin Lexi is looking in approximately the same direction.

I have both a wireless vello and a wired one. It seems the wireless works when the sun, moon and the stars are in perfect alignment. The wired one works every time.

Thanks, Ed. I'll continue searching but Vello for Canon isn't available on Amazon UK or ES. Other searches, including Ebay haven't found anything yet either. Pity because they look a good buy.

I'm looking for a good, cheaper alternative to the Canon RS-80N3 remote cable switch for my 5DS R and 5D MkIV. Has anyone got a recommendation?

Thanks, Manglesphoto. I have the Canon EF 100mm f2.8 L lens. Next week I hope to have a more stable base for my rail to sit upon. I must invest in a cable release, for this one I used a 10-second delay timer. I'll play about with exposure and saturation settings, thanks for the advice. I think I should have changed the angle of the shot to the right, it would have moved the thorn to the left and probably out of the line of the shot. Thanks for looking.
