Welcome to this week's My Image - Your Look. I offer the following image for editing in this week's competition.

Post your edits in this thread before midnight on Thursday, then on Friday we'll start another thread for voting. By the end of Sunday we'll have a winner who will provide the image for the following week. We look forward to seeing the results of your efforts.

I really like this image. That pool receding into the distance is a winner. What I noticed, though, is that it has a lot of green. That makes it very monochrome looking to my eye. In keeping with that, I figured this would be a good candidate for a black and white conversion. (big surprise there, huh?) I put more contrast in the sky and manipulated the greens to be highlights. I think it gives the image more depth.

Glad you enjoyed, Erich. It responds very well to B&W conversion, and I do find my eye being led into the distance.
