Welcome aboard and if you're driving into California on the I-10, when you get to Beaumont, CA. give me a shout out and with can grab a coffee, wine, whatever. Might be fun meeting another Viet Nam vet. I was in Danang from Feb. 68-69. If you're coming this way shoot me a PM and I'll provide you my mobile number and when you're getting close we can setup a meeting. Safe travels no matter where you travel.

I've had issues with my new vehicles in the passed. The first thing you want to do is ask to speak with a "regional factory" rep. Second, write a letter to Honda Corp. I've done both of these things in the passed and you'll be amazed how you will be treated the next time you go to that same dealer. In addition, they will bend over backwards to make you happy. They don't want the bad press, especially when auto sale are in the toilet. If you're not satisfied with the regional rep, ask to speak with His boss. Again the don't want the bad press on "mark" against them. It's worked for me more than once. Good luck.

Although I agree this is a great shot, my only suggestion is, assuming you have Photoshop, that maybe "mask" the surfers face so it doesn't look as distorted. Otherwise, I'd call it a wall hanger. Thanks for sharing.

OK so here is a real tip for all that eat bananas...Check the link I'm providing for a "banana bag". When you get home put your green bananas in this bag and they'll keep for nearly two weeks. I know when someone told me this I told them they were full of rubbish. I bought one and lo and behold, but it works. The banana will turn ugly black on the outside but the banana itself is still firm on the inside. The bananas won't last forever, but you'll be amazed how much longer they'll last in the refrigerator, as I said as much as two weeks. It work so well, we now have two bags and we've given them away as holiday gifts. Family and friends are amazed as well as to how well they keep their bananas firm. Here's the link from Walmart, but I'm sure there lots of places that sell them. They work very well....check it out:

Where are you? It's sunny here this morning (SoCal).

50 is cold for SoCal. 🥶 Time for the thick sweatshirt hoodie and long pants.

I'm in Beaumont, CA. I'm just one exit before the 60 and the 10 meet. About 20 minutes passed San Bernardino off the 10 at the top of the San Jacinto Pass. I never said it was warm by the way. I can't wait for next week to warm up...at least that is what the weatherman said. By the way, we haven't seen the sun since Friday afternoon out here, well maybe a peak or two, but no way warm. Woke up to wet street and patios....sweatshirt/umbrella weather for sure.

Where is THIS? Your profile does tells us where you live. I'm in sunny California, but here we are with another weekend of cloudy skies and drizzle. Finally going to warm up later this coming week. By the way, I like the shot, the tone of the photo makes it sure look cold there. At least we're not cold, we're low to mid 40's at night and mid to upper 50's during the day....next week they claim it will be in the mid to upper 80's so we'll see. Thanks for sharing.

Welcome back and hope your surgery/injury heals faster than the doctor estimate. Also, congrats on the grandkids. I look forward to seeing your work when you're up to posting.

Definitely more than an "E" ticket ride!

Neat photo, routine for our great pilots of today.....but you all realize that many on this site have no clue when you say "E" ticket ride....that was way before their time.

Great photo as always.....That's brings back great memories when I/we could actually socialize with the human race. Now we socialize with electronics and if you're lucky enough to have a spouse. And it looks like we'll doing this for another 4 to 6 weeks. We've been hunkered down when they first suggested it in early March before it became mandatory mid March. So we're coming up of almost a month indoors. The good news is I live in a 55 & older community where you can walk without breaking the 6 foot socialization rule when the weather is nice (we've had lots of rain here last month). Most are afraid to come out of their house. We still walk the neighborhood making sure we are far apart from someone else they may be walking too. Pretty unusual to see so few on the streets walking. We're a pretty active community with lots of walker in normal conditions. Stay safe out there.

I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to computers...so my computer guy put "NovaBackUp" on system. It backs up my entire C & D drives twice a week. I accidentally deleted a template I created and had to resort to restoring the file from a recent backup. I found the file very easily and restored it just as easy. I don't remember the exact cost but somewhere in my gray matter I seem to remember it was under $100. That's a one time purchase. Good luck with your choice.

I've put a watch on this topic so when someone finds out anything about please respond on this thread or a new that we'll all see. Thanks and I hope we find he is doing well. Stay safe and healthy out there. I live in a small town outside of Los Angeles (pop. 40k) and just read this morning we have 5 cases in this town with one death already from this covid-19.

I too recognize the views. Looks like the Westin, correct? We have reservation for end of Sept. thru Oct. for 26 days along with 1st class round trip airfare all paid for, but not sure that will happen now. We're in a wait and see mode before canceling. Nice images and already said, thanks for the memories.

Every time I see one of these types of videos, whether its a dog reuniting with it's owner or husband's or wive's with their families and especially their kids reuniting like this it brings a tear to my eye. It reminds me when I returned from Vietnam over 50+ years ago and the welcome from my family. Not so much from most of America, as back in those days we were spit at and known as baby killers, murderers, etc. Not a real popular war back in the day. Thanks for sharing this video. I found it very heart warming.

When you said 10 minute video I said to myself...I'm not going to watch a 10 minute video...I did. What an education. Thank you for sharing. It does put things into perspective. Be safe out there and don't do anything to expose yourself unnecessarily. I've copied and pasted the link to share with my family and friends.
