Thanks, yorkiebyte. It'll be good to get out with a D5200. This shutdown of everything is driving me crazy.

Great photo as always.....That's brings back great memories when I/we could actually socialize with the human race. Now we socialize with electronics and if you're lucky enough to have a spouse. And it looks like we'll doing this for another 4 to 6 weeks. We've been hunkered down when they first suggested it in early March before it became mandatory mid March. So we're coming up of almost a month indoors. The good news is I live in a 55 & older community where you can walk without breaking the 6 foot socialization rule when the weather is nice (we've had lots of rain here last month). Most are afraid to come out of their house. We still walk the neighborhood making sure we are far apart from someone else they may be walking too. Pretty unusual to see so few on the streets walking. We're a pretty active community with lots of walker in normal conditions. Stay safe out there.

Quite a curious scene for sure. The lady with the umbrella seems to be extremely happy and seems to be the only one with an umbrella along with being somewhat separated from the rest of the crowd. :-)

Thanks, pwrxprt. Yes, this is the pits. It's good that you have a place to walk freely. I'm lucky, too, in that I live a block from a city park. But this is a heck of a time to do street photography.

Thanks, waegwan. The lady may be one of those people (like my wife) who are overly concerned about getting too much sun and having her freckles appear. The separation really isn't as bad as it seems. Just with the natural random movement of large numbers of people, at any moment a few of them will be briefly isolated. That's what I depend on. The only exception is when they're really jammed up, which does happen at some events.

Just loves a frame full of intriguing content from corner to corner AND where there’s no difficulty in telling what I’m looking at. Agree with other that the umbrella mystery sets this apart.
