Hello once again my fellow hedgehogs!!...my last post was Dec 2017 and since then I have undergone my fifth left shoulder surgery. After the fourth surgery everything was good and then in 2018 it went bad once again. The doctor I had at the time disagreed with the radiologist of my latest MRI report and thought it was inflammation and spent the next year treating it as such with no improvement. I then decided to go back to a doctor I had before retiring for a second opinion and he said high grade tear which did require surgery. It was successful but I still am needing steroid injections as the pain still bothers me at times. Now I've finally gotten to the point where I can hold the camera long enough to get images. Btw I became a grandpa for the second time (another boy) and have a granddaughter due this coming May. Sorry I've been long winded with this but it is good to be back!!

Welcome back and hope your surgery/injury heals faster than the doctor estimate. Also, congrats on the grandkids. I look forward to seeing your work when you're up to posting.

Hello once again my fellow hedgehogs!!...my last p... (show quote)

1. Congrats Grandpa!!!
2. Worked in Radiology for 38yrs. Saw a good number of patients go through needless suffering because their Doc disagreed with a Radiologist's findings. So absurd. I could go on but won't.
3. Glad you're able to get back to shooting!

Welcome back, Nascar. I hope this time it takes. Five surgeries is not good, and I hope this one heals up strong so you can lift those grandbabies!!.

Thank you...our daughter works in Radiology performing MRI's. Though she didn't scan me due to hippa laws, she did say afterward she agreed with the head of radiology's read. The doctor I had at the time was very good but he wanted to avoid surgery due to the number of procedures previous. Unfortunately it didn't work out but I don't fault him. He is a good guy/doctor but felt a second opinion was warranted. Might post some of my older images not seen here as I'm always open to opinion on how to get better. Photography is a hobby to me but I want to be as good of a student always trying to learn.

Thank you Wingpilot. Yes this many times takes a toll as reattached tendons are only 80% of the strength before surgery and I've had 4 re-attachments. I can lift them but when they start bucking around I have to put them down.
