Just like man whatever it takes to survive. Great pics
I sure am satisfied with my gitzo 2228 explorer carbon fiber, with a gitzo 1276 ball head. Mighty strong and u can configure the tripod like an octopus if needed, it will place the camera where it is needed even at ground level in combination with ball head it is pretty darn versatile. They can be had fairly reasonable off ebay which is where I purchased mine used.
tnx Nikonian72 for the link provided very good example, but if u were to lay for example a nikon 80 to 400 f4.5to 5.6 in both dx and fx side by side how would one determine which is which. tnx
I have read that fx and 35mm film are quite similar, so with that being said are older lens from film cameras compatable with fx format? And also how does one tell the difference between a DX lens and an fx lens? I have seen both offered at places like eBay but looking at the pics of both I see no difference, I was told by one person u have to look at back glass. Tnx in advance
As god intended for our enjoyment and pleasure, very nice pictures.
those are wonderful pictures and point well taken, much can be achieved when one understand's their equipment. nice lesson for those of us that can not afford more expensive equipment.
What model lumix as I carry a lumix DMC TS5 that I carry in my pocket all the time.Enjoy it very much so nice to have when DSLR is not available.
I have a Tamrac which will do all things u mentioned, but I should warn u bigger is not always better as I am 62 years young and in pretty shape and I can't load it up and carry on my back all day,I am looking at getting something smaller for all day hikes. Just saying if u don't have the space u won't be trying to fill it HI HI.
I see B&H has elements 13 on sale I know very little about any of these programs or how to use them. My question is do you need to be a computer guru to make any use of this program? At $39.00 dollars it has to be a pretty good deal unless it is sorely antiquated.
I have a panasonic lumix ts5 which I carry everyday in my pants pocket takes wonderful pictures, has numerous menu options like filter effects and picture qualities, does wi-fi and is built very rugged and can take a water dunk. Its not a dslr but I can carry it anywhere in a pocket and still get some pretty darn nice pictures when the big lens is not handy.
I really enjoy my Panasonic dmc-ts5 as a pocket camera carry it everyday, I will try to include a couple sample photos taken today with it.
Hello all my name is Jerry I live in north central Pennsylvania I am a novice of novice's when it comes to photography, really don't have a dog gone idea what I am doing but really do enjoy all of your post and out of all the post I hope to become better with time. I presently have a nikon D90 with a 80 to 400 4.3 to 5.6 also a 105 2.8 prime a 10.5 fisheye and a couple old sigma's which I had on an old nikon 6006 film camera they are a 28 to 70 2.8 and a 70 to 210 2.8. So I am not really loaded for bear but they are still a lot of fun for a novice like myself. An elder once told me you get good with cheaper stuff and you will be great when you advance to the better hope hope hope anyway good day and keep those great post rolling in.
