Suggest you shoot RAW + JPEG to start. Then using Canon software edit the raw image and compare to JPEGs created by camera. At some point your post processed RAW will be more to your liking then your camera produced JPEGs. The Camon software will provide a good understanding of what you want in a software package. All of the major software packages have some type of trial period, use these trials to select what is best for you or stay with Canon software.
Try shutterfly. They provide templates, easy to use and post. It is free, you can create several different sites from the photo you up load.
I have use Luminar 2018, L3 and L4 (.0,.1,.2) on a windows 10 system. I though the L3 had a lot of duplicate filter/tools with slight name changes, L4 consolidated these tool, removed duplicates making the interface cleaner easier to use. Also L3 was buggy, many time crashing or preventing some functions. L4 still has some bugs, but they are minor and they do not prevent me from preforming the basic functions.
Check out refurbished ep-s lens at Canon website. I am using their Macro 35 1:2.8 IS STM lens as my go to lens. Also have the Canon 55-250 EF-s. Very seldom use the kit lens that came with camera. Next Lens will be a wide angle and/or niffy fifty.
My cruise with Holland America was cancel by them. I am going to take the full refund option. Cruises may be much cheaper next year.
I have several different sizes and shape of screwdriver in my tool box. I use them for different situations. Same is true for software.
Many year ago camera manufacture found that selling Megapixels was easier then selling lens quality to much of the target market.
Best if you determine your output devices resolution, then double it for the number of megapixel that you will need.
Canon EF‑S 35mm f/2.8 Macro IS STM. I purchase a refurb one from canon. Has built in ring light for macro shots. Also great a every day carry around lens.
Photolemur is a Skylum product. Luminar 4 another Skylum product has AI built into several of it's tools. I suggest you download a trial of Luminar and take a test drive. Many images can be edit only using the AI Enhanced Tool/Filter. Several other tools if you want to do more.
I use Luminar. Luminar does not change your RAW files. It is still in the folder that your originally put it. However, what Luminar does do, it saves the edits you made inside it catalog structure, when you open luminar they apply these edits the the image you are displaying, so that you can continue editing from the point you left off.
If you want to make a different edit of same RAW file make a copy of the RAW file in the folder it is located with a different name.
Kodak DCS 200 had a sensor of 3000x2000 full frame. They were about $10,000.
I am presently using Kodak Paper from the turn of the century on my HP printer with no problems.
