One night my wife was cooking dinner and she showed me this pepper and of course I had to photograph it. Natural window light with a reflector and a gobo, Canon 60D and Tamron 90mm macro on a tripod and rail. Zerene and LR5 for post.

It's a Wolf Spider, totally harmless and a good vermin controller. They're big enough to eat cockroaches. If it's in the house and it bothers you, just capture it in a plastic cup and move it outside.

You are far more dangerous to it than it is to you. Just don't try to kiss it.

Thank you wings42 (fellow San Diegan) I sent your answer to my son in law

a BAD one. should be a DEAD one. Hope it not a recluse. may be others

WIKI tells me the recluse is not likely to hang out outside its own territory although one may hitchhike occasionally.

Just use your restore disk. Oh wait. That doesn't exist. Ok. Next time is starts, if it goes to the blue screen, Press and hold the power button till it does go off. Then restart in safe mode. See if you can go to a restore, then just do a restore. Don't know if this is a help or not. I've never been where you are.

Hey Bill Got it working using handgunners approach almost the same as your suggestion. See above. Thank you for your suggestion.

Which kind of computer is it?
Have you tried prayer?
Have you tried unplugging it?
How are you able to post this question?
Do you have more than one computer?
Have you considered replacing it?
I hope all this free help is better than paying an expert.
Do you have system disks?
How computer savvy are you? On a scale of 1-10. 1 being Bill Gates 10 being a Luddite?
Are you having fun yet?
Good luck.

HP Win 7
Prayer-should i sprinkle with Holy Water? God uses people so I asked You guys.
I was able to post the question via my mental telepathy app.
Yes more than one
No need to replace yet
Much better than paying an expert you guys rock
Yes on the system disks
Computer savvy I'm a 10 until I don't know what I'm doing then my expertise plummets to a 3 then will even out at 6
Yes I am having fun

If you do not have a Shut Down button on your monitor you can hold in the Power button on your processor until it shuts down. Hopefully your computer will restart. The blue sceen usually is the "Blue screen of death" and your processor took a dirt nap. Good luck.

Thank you hand gunner that worked. thankfully it wasn't the blue screen of death but windows 7 splash screen.

The other day Tuesday I hit the "shut down" button and then accidentally hit the power button on my computer while updates were installing and now the computer is on the blue screen for hours and hours "operations are in progress, please wait....etc" Is there anything I can do to get back to using my computer?

Thank You

David

What about the image makes it dramatic, powerful, and stunning, Jambulee? This is the critique section, please explain.

I've always said that I wont post a b&w and a colour version of the same image as I don't like the "which is best" discussions, but I think it's time to break that rule as both versions have equal merit. What do you think? :-)

B&W Version: http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-219197-1.html

The B&W is my favorite it has much more drama and power, vey stunning
