WIKI tells me the recluse is not likely to hang out outside its own territory although one may hitchhike occasionally.

It's a Wolf Spider, totally harmless and a good vermin controller. They're big enough to eat cockroaches. If it's in the house and it bothers you, just capture it in a plastic cup and move it outside.
You are far more dangerous to it than it is to you. Just don't try to kiss it. :wink:
