Has anyone tried a 5-in-1] RAVPower® FileHub Wireless SD Card Reader with 3000mAh Backup Battery, Wireless Mobile Storage Media Sharing, WLAN Hot Spot & NAS File Server to download photos to an external hard drive without having to go through a Netbook or laptop? YOu still need a cell phone or tablet to operate the device.

I'm traveling to Africa for a photo Safari and looking for suggestions for a device that I can use to download RAW photos from my SD card to my external hard drive without going through a lap top (trying to eliminate having to carry a laptop). I will be taking my Nexus tablet.

Man I would do a lot of research before buying PW's for Canon flash. We jumped in and purchase four FlexTT5's so we could operate Two 580's and one 430 for wedding photography. Discovered to late that there is a radio interference iswsue with connons and PW's. The PW's come with a shield to help with this, however we still found them to be unreliable. Very frustrating - oh yah if anyone has a solution please respond!

I've observed the site for sometime. When my browser separated the adds from the emails I sort of lost track of "Ugly". Found it the other day and am enjoying reading it daily. I consider myself to be an advanced amatuer photographer. In my retirement it has become a real passion. Fortunately for my wife as well, so we do a lot of traveling and photographing always trying to improve our skills. Oh ya - spenidng a lot of money as well on equipment - we bought a 500 prime the other day. It cost about double what my first new car cost - unbelievable! Traveling to Africa this summer , hopeful for some great pics.
