They are not comparable. The 7D is superb. Top of the line and does everything. I have one for sale with two "L" lenses and a lot of accessories. I went to the Sony NEX7 because I am really too old to carry around the kit I have with the 7D. If you are interested in my 7D let me know and I'll send you all of the details and price. I was in the same boat and decided to go small and light. I purchased the Sony NEX7 with the Zeiss lens and I could not be more pleased. The camera is fantastic and the quality of pictures is outstanding. The kit is expensive but well worth it. You can carry it all day long and not know you have it on your shoulder or around your neck. Hope this is helpful.

I have six metal prints. I must tell you they are spectacular. I have them on our wall at home and receive raves every time someone sees them. Be sure to order with the hanger on the back. Bay Photo was the supplier.
Yes I did it and received all updates without any problems. I have been a user of Nik products for years and cannot emphasis enough the usefulness of their products.
I have owned on for years and it is on my 7D most of the time. It is a great lens and I have not found any defects. It is sharp and you will be very pleased to have one.
