Went for a pretty long motorcycle ride today. Did not take very many pictures since it is hard to get the camera out of my bag when I'm riding. (no, I don't do that) I did stop at Hot Dog Johnny's for a couple of deep fried dogs and took some pictures. Johnny's is a must stop if you are anywhere near the Delaware Water Gap. It is on Rt. 46 just about a mile from the intersection of 46 and 31. They deep fry everything in peanut oil, so if you are allergic, just keep driving.

That's the best part of riding a motorcycle. especially if you take your wife is finding the neet eating places or new ice cream stands.

Thought you would enjoy some quick photos of the Day Lillys that bloom each year around my backyard Pond , they only are in bloom for about two weeks, and the fields of Rye & Hay that are being harvested this week, here in Lancaster County, the corn and other crops should be super with the weather we have been having.

My wife says they are Asiatic Stargazer Lillies. Rabbits kept eating ours and she gave up growing them. Thanks Tom

1) you must not have an outdoor cat
2) that is one dumb bird

All spring I have this dumb robin trying make a nest on top of my garage door opener INSIDE my garage. I don't remember how many times I disposed of nest materials.

I'm wondering what that place does in the winter, assuming it's not in FL.

It is a year round restaurant, but also a ice cream factory. You can take a tour on their website. South of Ludington is their ice cream warehouse and distribution center. Tom

We just found out that this guy who lives down the street from us is an ex-president of Somalia.

Maybe he's a member or president of the local Harley riders club.

Our church purchased from B&H Canon XF100 video recorders and are quite satisfied. Check out the specs.

I have been looking in for many months and decided its time 'stop lurking" and start sharing. Im not really good at this and use a Canon SX30, my only camera, I can't pay for the glass many of you use. Living in western Wisconsin I have a bunch of lovely outdoor scenery for me to ogle and shoot when I remember to bring my camera.

Ok, I travel occasionally, so does anyone know where I was in this photo? I do!

I looked him up yesterday and it said suspended, but I saw a reply to a thread on Erv's birthday from him. Is that possible?

My mistake. His reply was dated 12/5/2013 - pre suspension.

Since I'm also a Goldwing rider also, I'd say concentrate on taking your photos leaving them on your SD cards, Enjoy the scenery and the trip and and worry about editing your pictures when you get back home. Otherwise you'll miss the vacation experience.

Subject: How wolves changed a river

I'd me curious what MT Shooter and other local photographers think about the statements in this video. Pretty big assertions. Nature changes are usually more complex.

No idea what kind of bird this is - would appreciate an ID.

He/she was at my feeder helping him/herself then flew down to the ground just as I was getting ready to take the shot. This is through a reasonably dirty window (I have dogs who like to make nose prints) and was a grab shot as he flew away about the time the shutter closed.

Might be a female Gambel Quail.

I love to see a picture of the inlet with the fishing boats in winter.
