Amazing. They are showing it in stock online now! Well I'm tapped out. How do you like the lens?

I like it.

Tamron cannot even deliver the 35-150mm f2-2.8 that they showed last year. I ordered one and it was and is still backordered. I spotted a Sony 70-200mm f2.8 "G" ll that was in stock and bought that instead. Their lenses sound great, but if they cannot deliver, after awhile its like "who cares?"

I got my Tamron 35-150 from Hunt Photo in March while it was backordered at B&H.

I will be spending about 5 days in Colorado Springs at the end of September and am interested in learning good locations for landscape photography. I heard that Garden of the Gods, Seven Lakes, Pikes Peak are some possibilities. Any other suggestions? Also, would it be better to stay in the Denver area or Colorado Springs for the best access to landscape photo venues? of Thank you.

No. They contract it out. It is my biggest concern with Sony.

I understand contracting it out but I would think that they would maintain some sort of oversight and control over their contractors.

I usually try to stay with one of the "traditional" aspect ratios when I save my master copies of my processed images. Not sure why as I rarely print; most of my images are displayed either on a computer monitor or a dedicated TV I have at home in my den. Especially with the TV, unless the image is at 16:9, the image does not fill the screen. This shot of a Red Kite had to be cropped at a non traditional aspect ratio. I clipped the bird's right (viewer's left) wing and had to replace the wing tip. To do so I had to add canvas on the left side. Because of the pose and the wing span, I could not (at least not satisfactorily to me) get this to work in a 5:4 or 3:2 ratio. What are your thoughts? How important is the aspect ratio to you? I am thinking of having this printed on canvas as a "panorama type" scene.

I realize that it’s non ideal and limiting but I usually limit my self to the available printer paper and pre-cut mat aspect ratios available, commonly 8x10 multiple and similar. I prefer to do my own printing and don’t want to get into cutting my own mats.

Does anyone know if this EXIF viewer has been discontinued? Whenever I try to open the website it says the viewer is unavailable at this time. It's been saying that for about the last week or so (maybe longer).

There are number of good free Exif viewers available on Mac App store, e.g. File Viewer etc.

Has anyone felt with Green Toe, what was your experience.

I've dealt with them several times over last few years and was very satisfied. The way it works is that you submit a price you would be willing to pay for an item and Greentoe submits your request to their preselected reputable vendors for duration time you choose. The vendors accept your price or counter. Then you can decide to accept their counter, counter yourself or cancel. I was able to purchase my desired photo products (cameras and lenses) at a significant savings from prices at B&H or Adorama. The products were new, not grey market and under a regular warranty. They were the same as bought at other retailers.

I was thinking of purchasing a used rokinon 14 mm wide angle lens. Does any body have one and can you give me your thoughts on this lens, buying what I could afford. Thanks Jim Bianco

About a year ago I bought the Rokinon 14mm lens for my Sony A7R3. Unfortunately, I found it to be very soft on the edges and throughout. So I've returned it.

Check the properties to find out whether the card is seen as removable media or as a local disc. If it’s seen as a local disc you didn’t eject it, you unmount it.

Good point! However after chatting with their tech support who didn't have a clue, I've decided to return the cards for a refund.
