Does anyone know if this EXIF viewer has been discontinued? Whenever I try to open the website it says the viewer is unavailable at this time. It's been saying that for about the last week or so (maybe longer).

I use Firefox for browsing. Within it, I use Alan Raskin's EXIF viewer. It's a simple right-click on the image and a table opens up with the EXIF information if it's available. Saves having to download the image, etc.

It appears to have been down for several weeks.

If I recall correctly, Jeffrey posted a notice on that app that it would continue until internet constraints got too much. I'd guess he's running up against his ISP bandwidth limits.

There are number of good free Exif viewers available on Mac App store, e.g. File Viewer etc.

Just before it went offline, the site hint at sending in a donation. Sometimes I like seeing what equipment took a photo & the settings but.. can live without it.

I use FastStone Image Viewer. Free download.

On a Windows PC of any version, download and install IrfanView. It's free.

Open your photo with IrfanView and then go to Image/Information and then click on EIF info. One can also view any IPTC info that has been added there also. --Richard

IrfanView is good for a lot of information, but one thing I like to get, sometimes, is the shutter count and it does not do that. I've recently had different apps indicate that the shutter count is not provided by my cameras.
