I had a variable N D filter. I loved it till i droped it in a lake. I think it was a 77 mm. i i used it up N H last summer shooting waterfalls in very bright sun and i found it get because i did not have to keep changing filters just turn the ring a bit. It was $250.00 but worth every cent and will be buying a new one soon.
Hi Ken, I just happened to be in a store looking at a lens, i know the salesman and was talking to him when, a woman walked in looking to sell here brand new D 600. It seems that her husband had bought her a D 800 and she did not know it. So she sold her D 600 to me.
I just walked into a deal where i bought the D 600 kit brand new in the box lens and all for $1600.00. It is an amazing and you will love.
I know people in New York that buy at Hunts to save on sales tax down there.

I did download the ACR 7.3 in the computer with LR 3 it has not helped yet. I will do it in LR4 later this week when i get back from work and try it on that one. One thing that gets me though is all the pics i shot Saturday and three this morning out of 160 pics uploaded when i tried them the other did not.
Thanks every one for the help' I do have LR in 3 in one computer and was shooting in raw with my D 7000and everything was fine no problem uploading at all. In my new computer with L R 4 i can not upload any thing from the D 600 i am not sure what the pop up says i should write it down next time. I thought it might be the camera but i now know it is not. I am open o all ideas but right now i am going to try and download the ACR that M T is telling me about. Again every one Thank You
That is supposed to be D 600 i seem to have that finger problem that Jerry was talking about.
I bought a D ^00 saturday. on the way home i stopped nd shot a few pictures brought them home and downloaded them ands was happy with it. Last night i was trying some shots in the house and could not open them on the computer or light room. Today i shot 160 pictures outside some being HDR i can see all the pictures in the iew finder but, of all the 160 shots i did today only three will open in Lightroom and Windows the rest say they can not be rad or opened, something like that. I am hoping someone can help me with this problem. Thanks You
ell i am sure a few of you will not like this but one thing i love to do is buy cigarettes when i am down south for my friends $40.00 a carton in Mass. they are $85.00 i don't think i am really beating the state out of money. They always need more money in this liberal state to pay for something foolish like the guy that killed his wife, now we have to pay tens of thousands of dollars for this guys sex change operation and he is spending life in jail. If i can beat this state out of a buck i will.
I checked out that D50 for $1900.00 It is being sold on "Amazon" through a third party. Very bad reviews from many people. Some tried to go through Amazon to get refunds with no luck. So the moral is don't sit back and think Amazon is going to take care of you, they are there to make money. The company selling this is called all St. Camera. No address, no phone, no web site.
At that price i might buy one myself. Problem is i just bought a Nikon 300 mm
Hi Jack. Yes it is the same as my old one Windows Explorer. I did have the same problem but don't remember how it was fixed. I thought i had to download something called Codex or something like that.
My computer just died. Lost power and will not charge up. I now am trying to use my new one but, when i download raw the computer says to change it to jpeg to work on the picture. also i cannot upload them to light room. I tried to make sure lightroom 3 has the latest updates and tried to up load software from Adobe. I had this proble, before and thought i uploaded some software called codex or something like that. I have checked past topics and serched the web before i came looking for help here, you folks are my last resort tonight. Thanks Mike
