Transfer Big Files has a free version and another you can pay a monthly nominal fee and send lots of pics to multiple recipients if desired. Even send RAW unprocessed photos. I highly recommend it.

If you have the Prime Membership one of the benefits is 5GB storage for your photos. Am currently using it for RAW images and the JPGs in the event my other backup fails. If more space is needed, it can be purchased for an additional amount.
It depends on what you are shooting. I have the D810 and shoot horse races....the 70-200mm 2.8 and the 24-70mm 2.8 are my go-to's. It will stop the action and both lenses work well in low light/night situations.

I changed to BBF early on and have loved it ever since. I shoot horse races, and the continuous focus and burst mode work well. BBF does take a little getting use to, but is worth the persistence.

A - I look at the image in camera immediately after the shot to see what the capture looked like. Always download as soon as possible to post process. Can't image not viewing pics asap.
