You cannot blame KEH for wanting a signature, common sense. If you want it delivered to another address beside billing, with B&H you have to register that address with your card company, for me with a $$$ item always Amex, with double the warranty. Now I have had 3 credit cards, Amex, busted, to the tune of a total of $18,000$... On the last one Microsoft sent laptops to 3 alternate address's, guess who lost $7000. Now the people who felt the hurt the worst were the flower and Gadiva chocolate folks, about $400 each. Yea they have their own rules for a reason, THIEVES.

The issue wasn't with the signature, the issue turned out to be with (somehow) combining the requested shipping address with the billing address. The issue was resolved between FedEx and me, fortunately.

I hate that in my area FedEx does not deliver on Mondays and if you have a problem trying to speak to someone that can help is not easy. I always use UPS if given a choice!

It's the same in my neck of the woods; no home deliveries on Mondays. But I did manage to talk to a couple of CSRs that did try to help, so that offsets the rest a little bit. Not much, but a little.

So they won’t deliver to a physical address different from your billing address? That seems odd.

It turned out that somehow KEH managed to combine the physical address with the billing address, and after I called one of their CSRs a driver supervisor called me explain what happened. We got everything straightened out and I received my delivery within 2-3 hours. Since then, I've found a workaround that should work.

Most camera vendors use UPS (the “brown truck”) and, on occasion use FedEx. KEH uses FedEx. Some will use USPS, but inexplicably charge customers more for that service. They explain that they have contractural agreements and prefer to use an “expedited” (if not very expedient) shipping service when they can. In my area, FedEx likes to estimate a 12-hour delivery DAY anytime between 8am and 8pm during which they can arrive at any time (and God help you if you happen to be on the john when they do). I hate ‘em both, but permit vendors to use them if that is the only way to get the stuff I want. /Ralph

I've found what you said to be absolutely correct, Ralph. Another UHHer gave me the solution to the dilemma I've had: Simply use the physical address of the post office where my PO box is located, for example... 123 Sesame Street, #1234 (which is the actual PO Box); Bronx, NY 12345. I had this option before when I lived in a suburb of Austin and I used it all the time; this is USPS-wide, therefore I can use such an address and my orders will be delivered with no fuss. Problem solved.

Sounds like you totally screwed up royally. Not FedEx fault at all in any way. They deliver to the address they are given. Give the correct address and that is where it gets delivered to. I have shipped plans all over the nation for decades not and not one problem ever in all that time. But I use the right address every time.

Sorry, but I have to royally disagree with you on your statement. I double-checked and triple-checked my shipping address before completing the order; they somehow combined the requested shipping address with the billing address. It doesn't matter now anyway, for I have figured out a workaround that will solve any future issues with deliveries.

To me, it doesn't seem like FedEx is at fault for failing to deliver to your door. Rather, it appears either KEH is to blame (not shipping to correct address), or it is your fault for not properly entering the shipping information on the KEH website. As KEH most likely uses an automated shipping label print out cued directly from website input, it is very possible the shipping mishap is the result of a mistake by you.

The mistake was not on my end, it was the fault of KEH. Whoever it was that created the shipping label for my order managed to combine both the shipping destination and my billing address. I did notify KEH about what happened, but they chose to ignore my notification. That's fine, for I have (1) figured out a workaround concerning my delivery address, and (2) decided not to order from KEH again after their silence on the issue; there are other dealers I can order from with little difference in price than what KEH has.

I purchased an 85 f/1.8 lens from KEH late last week; it was set to be delivered by FedEx on Saturday but never was due to the dreaded "customer wasn't home or business was closed" message. Mind you, I WAS home and I never saw any FedEx vehicle drive by on my street. I called FedEx up and talked to a CSR explaining my issue. I filed a complaint and was expected to receive my delivery on Tuesday (today).

Fast forward to today. Following my package via FedEx's tracking page, I see that it was on its way. As it became later and later in the day, I wondered what was happening because once again, I saw no FedEx vehicles on my street at any time. Well, I checked the tracking page...and lo and behold, it wasn't being delivered to Address A where I was, but to Address B where I have a PO box 10 miles west of there. Let's just say that I wasn't happy.

I called FedEx again to complain and to ask why was my package not delivered to Address A like I requested; the CSR took my phone number and would have someone call me back to explain what happened (yeah, right) and I said that it had better be a driver supervisor. Furthermore, I sent an email to KEH's sales department telling them about the situation and to see what they say or what they can do to mitigate the problem. It's not the fault of KEH, but I wanted to let them know what was happening with my order.

I have noticed that it seems like most camera vendors seem to be using FedEx for shipping instead of USPS like I would like to use preferrably because I have a PO Box for a reason. Any thoughts from anyone concerning FedEx, or want to share their own experiences?

I'm going to say what others are already saying: Get the Lightroom and Photoshop subscription. I had used Picasa before, just to get my feet wet. I purchased the subscription and haven't looked back; it's really worth the money, and boy does it make a difference for editing photos.

I have three cameras and am diabetic (PZ70, PZ400, Pen-5. I had an optometrist appt. last week and was told my eyes are fine. No diabeties in my eyes. I took each of my cameras and all three were not sharp looking through the view finder. Better using the screen. I took my blood sugar and it was 183. Right now the doctors are more concerned about my putting on weight rather than taking insulin or any more medication. So it is usually high though out the day. I know high bs reading can cause blurriness. But, I don't seem to have blurriness when watching tv or reading. So I am in a quandary. I use the diopter dial and it doesn't make my photos extremely sharp. I know I am unusual in the fact I am not overweight rather underweight. Honestly I am 135 and would just as soon stay this at the weight. Maybe to up to 140 would be fine. Does anyone of the members have problems with taking photos from time to time. Thank you for advice or reply.

I'm familiar with your struggle; I have diabetes as well and I use progressive bifocals (love them). Focusing can be an issue but I generally manage to get it done. I'm over weight and trying to lose more than a few pounds and watch my diet. Exercise isn't easy when you live in central Texas and you have those hot and humid summers, and you just want to say the heck with it...I'm staying in the A/C. I use Canon gear with Canoin lenses and a older Tamron telephoto zoom with filters. Take your time to make sure you get the focus right (I use manual focus almost exclusively). You'll make it....just hang in there.

I just received a call from the "IRS' (on my machine) about an action that was taken by the IRS against me, And a number to call. This is obviously a scam. The IRS does not notify anyone by phone. I am sure I am not the only one to receive such a call. This is a warning not to respond.

I've received two of those calls. Let's just say it didn't go very well for them.

The most likely cause is that the 77D has a newer version of CR2 files they are not supported by the version of LR that the OP is using. If that's the cause, there are 3 solutions: (1) download Canon's DPP (2) download Adobe's DNG converter (3) update ACR & LR to at least versions 9.10 & 6.10 (respectively).

Choices (2) and (3) are your best options. Do (3) first then (2) and then you're good to go.
