Rap is not music! I won't be watching just like last year ànd the year before. It bothers me so many clean cut players are gone and the new ones with long hair hanging out of the helmets and the dope . When I was a kid the base ball players and the football players were good examples for the kids.
Ever try to price match a toaster or mixer or most small appliances or for that matter a trolling motor for your boat. Can't be done.....they have their own model numbers and most of that stuff is made specifically for walmart and more than likely cheapened up for the price advantage. I tried to order on line a propeller for a motor I bought there a few months after I got it there only to find no such motor ever been built at motorguide.
In my area walmart tends to carry fewer brands and instead of 6 different items on a shelf just one....hundreds of just one item on a huge display. walmart moto.....if we don't have it you don't need it.
There is one that I ran into a long time ago that for a lens that some how got gunk on it that doesn"t want to clean up easily try ponds cold cream. It does work and I have tried it on a couple used cameras I got at a camera flea market.
Would a surveyors tripod be of any value for photography? Of course discounting the fact that they are heavy and large to carry around.
I have given up on buying garlic presses from walmart, every one I have got there has broke on the first use.
Lone ranger ain't gonin no where quick now.
In the late 80's I bought a new cibachrome cap 40 processor converted to run ra prints. I must have several thousand of 8x10 and larger with it. Its outside today along side a small shed.
A nikon cool pix 995. I came close to smashing it against the sidewalk several times. The shutter lag seemed like 2 or 3 seconds. My nice got better pictures of my mother with a barbie film camera the last get together before she died. It was totally wrong for any subject that was alive and breathing, other than that it took ok pictures.
I bought a used panasonic GX1 a year ago. I can use most all of my old lenses with it. It has 16mp and all the features I wanted except for a view finder, just a 3 inch screen on rear. Put a magnifier on it and am good to go. Check out mirrorless for weight saving and cost savings and ability to use most older lens regardless of brand. Newer models have good viewfinders.
Had it not been for the advent of digital I would be plodding along with ancient mechanical cameras that kept me happy knowing that the latest nikon or canon had very little to best an OM1 or even an exa. The cost of some more rodinal and fixer was negligible. Today besides a new camera every few years and all the rest of things to support it are far from negligible, but I can take as many pictures as I like. And hand my camera to a trained chimp he will be able to get some keepers too.
no, but it does give you pictures you could never have gotten otherwise.
Use a wide angle, camera on strap around neck, a remote release run down your sleeve in your hand at your side. No hands on camera. You could walk up and start a conversation with subject with out any suspicion you were taking their picture. Making sure beforehand the camera is hanging straight and level.
Color, for me, there is too much going on for B&W. B&W for me is where there is less going on in the background. The wheel would be better seen with a desert background.
