We don't know but it doesn't matter. If the people who pay think they are of good quality then they will pay otherwise they won't. They are the judges.

Or if the people who pay are not of good quality... they will do whatever they can to get the cheapest, and then even cheat them!

It's more than likely a script used to run ads on this site. The script may not be local and running on a remote server, which in turn is calling data from another server. If any of those connections is slow, overloaded, etc., it will cause an inordinate delay and an advisory will appear notifying you of a long running script. In most cases, the admins of this site have no control over that issue.

Thanks for the explanation of something at least, it's happened only occasionally, but confirms your explanation since
after any session Ccleaner flashes furiously. Windows10 has been difficult though as they have changed some things
so watch for the feedback notice and any surprises ....And now, after it seems some major work on security, there
was a notice a few days ago they will be doing something significant in Sept. It's just the "little stuff" for which
there is no clear answer, or that looks some way threatening where we need explanations as to source....they can be
very unsettling.

Frequently there are questions re. the site's ownership of everything including your pictures.
That question is usually well answered in the explanation given by admin.
There have been some instances of people stealing a member's image and using it elsewhere
without permission, and there may be more....

Look up any subject on your browser, such as exposure or focus, read thoroughly, then move on to the next.
Learning is a process, not an automatic quick explanation.

To be named "official photographer" is nothing new folks! It always meant they appreciate your freely given time and work,
and you are supposed to be delighted with the "honor" they bestowed on you.
Happened to me ONCE. When these "nice" people stalled on paying even the modest compensation they offered,
they weren't so happy when I withdrew the collection of slides.
Next move, they tried to bribe me for about $300, and that so disgusting I walked out the door.
Then they made an effort to try to intimidate me with legal action which was so ridiculous it could be ignored.
Would you have taken the $300 and forgiven them?

Really an outstanding set L-Duck. Think it's the first time I've seen a photo anywhere of a
mourning dove in flight. They are everywhere... but on wires or something. Also, a bunny
walking, neither peeking out of the foliage nor sitting somewhere.

Robin, most of the replies here have been addressed to the specific camera you are using,(Canon), but is not really unique.
It is a bridge camera, i.e., it has its own non-removable lens, and typically with considerable "stretch", from wide angle where
you have a wide view of everything and all seems to be in focus, to considerable telephoto distance, where, depending on
your distance to the subject, you may or may not be able to obtain a shallow depth of field.
Bridge cameras are therefore highly versatile, able to cover all sorts of situations, and in time you will appreciate that.

But what you really need to learn is how to take a picture to get what you want with any camera, since they all operate on the same
specific principles. I suggest therefore that you refer to the word "search" at the top of any one of your user pages here and you will
find a wealth of advice on learning about depth of field, focus, and exposure. There are many books available on the subject as well.
Happy shooting and we will be here for you when you run into a specific problem.

Jenny, Pismo is translated from the Indian word pismu for tar. The Indians used the tar to seal their boats when they went fishing in the ocean.

Thank you very much Snap! It's a rather famous Calif. location
but I always wondered about such an odd name. (Just one of those things
perhaps non-essential to know but that keep people wondering )

This appears that the eagle is "taking air" at you.....

Just remember, like all "pilots" and are in a "stressed" environment - They jettison "extra weight" upon taking off to lighten the Load. :-)
