Yes, we have been trading parties back and forth with each President for at least the last few decades.
And their personal fiscal ideas aside, all have been decent upstanding men and a good role model for Americans. That is until now.
Now to be a Republican, one spends more time doing damage control and contriving stupid responses to try and justify the actions of Tramp.
Never has a president stooped so low as having a running public war of words with every Tom, Dick and Harriet that has said anything Tramp perceives to be the least bit of a personal attack.
I realize that so far it's been the price that has been paid for having a Republican in the White House.
But HOW do you justify the boorish language and behavior?
I hang my head in shame for my great Country. Never before has it been so embarrassing to be an American.
It would be SOOO EASY to not be this way. How petty our commander-in-chief is.
It's an emberrassing time to be either an American but especially a republican!!!

No offense, but I would prefer being a Republican than being one who advocates violence and who has a love of penises. But life is about choices.

there are many non-Republicans who advocate peace (everywhere on the planet, not just the US) and have a normal heterosexual love of penises.

You were talking about SS because you had nothing intelligent to say or come back with. We get a lot of that uneducated banter here from the right.
You were the first to raise your hand, you won't be the last!
Yes, I'll admit, I live my DICK and so have the women I've been with. Haven't had the occasion to be with a man but I'm sure he would love it as well!!! LoL
Don't worry, you won't be my first, but I'm sure you've been someone else's though!!! LoL
If I had to be with a man, he wouldn't be old, feeble, flabby and ugly when he was in his prime, like you!
Now get back on the porch old man, the street is a dangerous place when it gets a bit rowdy!!!

No, I am still VERY proud to be an American, and extremely proud to be a Republican and also to be a Trump supporter. He is doing, or attempting, to do just what he said he'd do if elected...and no matter how loudly you whine and moan, TRUMP WAS ELECTED by the existing Laws of this country...live with it.
Any thinking person would bow his head in shame if Trump behaved like our past Presidents, and allowed this once great Nation to slip even further down the slippery slope
of Democrat Liberalism.
Why don't you be truthful and admit that what bothers you is that American voters rejected Democrats and voted FOR change in order to make America great again.
So just take another pill ( maybe you can find one with a seven-year-time-release) to ease your left-wing pain and continue to entertain us Republican voters with your
sour grapes whining. (Canada is still open.)

You probably have no recollection of the last President who stooped so low as to spy on news reporters such as James Rosen of Fox News, not only the reporter but the reporter's parents as well. You probably don't remember he spied on normal Americans as well. He also stooped so low as to have Lois Lerner of the IRS deny Conservatives the right to have IRS privileges for certain groups. Possibly you don't recall that President specifically putting down Fox News watchers as losers and Fox News as a, "Bad", thing, not to be trusted or watched. I guess it is all in what you are able to tolerate as good or bad. Republicans think the federal government spying on citizens is a bad thing. The rest of what I wrote, a bad thing and not to be tolerated. You will say it didn't happen or it was really acceptable because it happened to Conservatives. Fine. Just so long as you know there IS another side to your story.

I was embarrassed when Vladimir Putin walked all over Obama at least three times, when the missile talks of Eastern Europe took place and Obama said he would take the missiles out of Eastern Europe. Normally in negotiations something is given and in return something is taken from the other side. You know how that goes. We take the missiles out and Putin gives America something. But Obama never asked for anything. Then there was the takeover of the Balkans by Putin. Of course most Presidents might have simply told Putin to get out of the area. But Obama never said anything of the kind. The takeover was complete in a short time and Obama nor America said anything. Then there was the poison gas attacks in Syria where Obama drew his famous Red Line. We all know what a Red Line is. If you do this again, bad things will happen. Of course Putin said he would vouch for Syria never doing it again and Obama said, Okey Dokey. Then it happened again. Then again but Obama never said another word about it. To Democrats that is a good thing. Yes, we do look like pussies but we are all safe and no harm done except for our reputation. Republicans look at it as a very bad thing that made us the laughing stock of the world. We have a President that has no balls to stand up for what he promised he would do. He gave his power to Putin who then stabbed Obama in the back.

I could to on but I do have a life to lead.

Wow, what a thread! I grew up in a small central Illinois town, and nearly everyone was Republican. During the summer of 1960, I went door to door with my mother campaigning for Richard Nixon for president, and Robert Michael for the 18th Congressional seat in Illinois. I remained a Republican until Watergate, and when I left home and had to make my own way in the world. By that time, Barry Goldwater's Supply Side Economics Ideas were starting to take hold. I have not voted for a single Republican since then because I began to see a paradigm shift in their policies from benefiting the general public, to making the richest American's richer. Their ideas were that if the rich elite have more, they would pass more down to the common people. This, of course, has not proved to be true. I feel your pain, republicans, because both major parties are owned by the rich elites. I choose who I vote for carefully, and lately I tend to vote for more "liberal" candidates, because as a retiree, they seem to take less from me (Medicare, Social Security, Healthcare).

Then you have noticed the paradigm shift also in the Democratic Party where the top Democratic leaders are now among the richest. Obama took office to supposedly help middle class Americans and the poorest Americans. Over eight years none of that happened. The middle class fell backward and the poor people, especially the black voters lost even more. Calling a large percentage growth of welfare recipients is not what I call a progressive move for America. But rich people did get richer under Obama. The Clintons got REALLY richer while Hillary was Secretary of State. I don't recall anyone saying Condoleesa Rice got richer while she was the Secretary of State. Do you?

It's hard for me to believe that anyone in Illinois would vote Democrat since the Democrats have taken your state to the brink of bankruptcy.

You always bitch and complain while insulting the Right Wing but not once have you spoken out to answer about Obama's or Hillary's lies. Not once have you said a word about Bill Clinton not only groping but allegedly raping women. Yet you continue on and on about a woman from 15 years ago saying Trump groped her. How convenient that woman worked for Hillary's election team. Hillary did commit crimes according to James Comey. Yet you don't condemn her. Why is that, selective Left Wing tin foil hats sticking together?

I hope you got a good nights sleep last night. I hated to keep you up for fear you would lose beauty sleep.

Well said!

Since Watergate, the Republican party has been fighting an uphill battle, and losing ground quickly because they can't seem to get their act together to legislate. They're nothing more than an obstructionist party, out to write tax breaks to make the top 1% even richer at the expense of the low income and low middle income citizens of our Country.
