I just read a review of the Canon 100-400mmL f4.5-5.6.

This article stated that with a 1.4 extender the camera was 224-896mm.

With a 2x extender it was 320-1280mm. (probably no auto focus)

Am not familiar with Sony lens but at first glance i would surmise it is a compression fitting. Is there any evidence of threads either on the fitting or lens barrel? I actually think not because of the photos you presented....if it were mine i would use a epoxy glue in clean matting surfaces....best of luck. Regards,
George.

An unshielded electro magnet (maybe in the drive train/electric motor may be doing it. Magnetism can screw up memory cards. A friend who is a Professor of Computer science had a student whose disks/drives she turned in were often corrupted so he questioned her about how she handled them. The ones she had her homework on were put on the refrigerator with a magnet so she would see them and remember to take them to school when she fixed her morning coffee. She stopped doing that and the problem was solved.

Maybe that Tesla doesn't have very good shielding.

That bit about magnetism or electric fields not affecting memory cards doesn't seem to hold up all the time in the real world.

If the Tesla shielding was a problem just imagine how many people with pace makers would go off line whilst in a Tesla...i own a Tesla S and its the best damn car I’ve ever had...my camera likes it, my SD cards like it my local fuel station hates it....

PhotoArtist, this post complements your series and is certainly presented in good taste. Your rendering of the floral background with the water droplets is strikingly beautiful, and her pose is both focused and relaxed. Yoga is a very beautiful activity and stimulates a healthy mind, body, and spirit. My significant other has practiced yoga for years and is now a certified yoga instructor. This has enabled me to have a much deeper understanding of the benefits of yoga. I shared your photo with her, and she was overwhelmed with the spiritual beauty conveyed, and the fact that it explicitly displays the beauty of the female form was received very positively, when considering the other option of artificially hiding any part of the lady's anatomy.

Please do not hesitate to continue to share the strength and beauty you have so capably captured in photos, and enhanced with your exquisite post processing. KUDOS!
