I pulled up next to a Harley at a traffic light a while back. Our bikes were idling, waiting for the light to change. His mirrors were vibrating so much it made them useless. The mirrors on my Goldwing were rock steady. I'm sure his mirrors would get steadier once he started moving, but still.
My understanding is that Harley drivers don't ride them for that sweet, smooth, quite ride, nor for the fastest bikes around. Loudest? Yeah.
