When I was young and we were fearless a friend was riding on the hood astraddle this type hood ornament when something caused me to have to hit the brakes. Luckily I was not driving very fast but he never chose to ride there again. Yes, he was able to become a father after this.

A city park near my home has two Chinese geese and anytime someone throws food out for the waterfowl they sound off very loudly to let all the others know food is there.

Soloed in a piper cub like #3 about 1948. (I'm now 93) Flew some of the others but loved to get out in the country in the cub in the late afternoon and just cruise around. Had to be back on the ground before dark because the cub did not have lights.

Have used Eneloop batteries in everything that requires batteries for at least ten years and never had a problem of any kind with them. The first ones I purchased are still functioning just fine.

Was bitten by one when in the fourth grade. Nearly died and missed so much school I had to repeat fourth grade. Still have scars on my arm where doctor lanced my arm several times to drain it.
