My favorite English/Chinese translation was from Coca-Cola when they introduced their products into China. The words they used translated to "Bite the wax tadpole". My second favorite translation flub up was when Chevy tried to sell the Nova in Mexico, Nova is No va, and that means no go.
You can use the Console (a built-in Mac Utility) to find the log and it will tell you exactly what's wrong.

It was a PITA. Because I had to bang out HTML code.
I would suggest you get a domain name and build yourself a site. Especially if you want to try and sell your work.
Professionalism does not look well on a free site.
Then there is the power of the right click. Without a watermark, anybody could right click and steal your photographs.
Meanwhile you are supporting the website for them to cherry pick from.
Good luck with your endeavors. It is a lot easier today than back when. ;)

I recommend using WordPress for versatility, extensibility and ease of use. Using your own domain is good advice, I use GoDaddy for that and iPage as a host. There is a WordPress plugin called "No Right Click" that i like to use. When I was coding by hand I used JavaScripts to thwart right clicks.
It's been a long time since I saw the video but I remember some of the details though none of the file names, It might take a while but I'll try and find it.
I've sold marketing posters for several years to the motorcycle aftermarket. I routinely buy 20x30 & 20x24 from Sam's Club. They use a large format Epson with a Fuji head. They are limited to 200 dpi by the Fuji but the prints are excellent. The ones I have hanging on my wall are over 10 years old and show no signs of fading. The processing has been consistent and high quality, though it took some work to get my color balance correct. Since each of my printers has their own bias I'm accustomed to that. Did I mention they are produced in 1 hour for only $9.99US?
Nice article but it barely scratches the surface.
Nice of Canon to jump on the band wagon. The technique was developed with Nikons at least 10 years ago, probably more.
also, having a wrangler is very helpful.
I always start large groups by having the people line up by height, it makes it easier to pose them. I'd think about breaking them into smaller groups. Personally I'd take my portable lights.
Oh!! I still remember the smell.
Personally I use 2 printers. An Epson 1280, soon to be replaced, for color and a Brother HL2240D ($110) with 2600 page refills ($10). The D is for duplex.
I've been using a custom FMP file for my digital asset management (DAM) and although it works well for me and it can be easily customized, it started to bog down when I hit 200,000 images. I've been considering Razuna mainly because it is open source. Anyone have any experience with this program?
Notes, built into iOS is great for this and if you have an OS X mac will automatically sync. Searching isn't obvious but google it for full instructions. If you want to sync to a windows machine try EverNote, it's a little more complicated to sync but it will.
Is that a clockwork orange in Atlanta? That means something.
In 1970 the British government was concerned with the rise of heroin use in prison so they commissioned a study to determine why. The results showed that many heroin users also smoked pot at one time and they concluded that pot was a gateway drug. They implemented new policies based on that conclusion. Heroin use went up 500% in the next 10 years, a faster rate than before the policies took effect. The government wisely concluded that something was amiss and reevaluated the research. They determined that in was significantly flawed: if you substituted the words "Wonder Bread" for "marijuana" you would have come to the conclusion that Wonder Bread was a gateway drug. There were several other flaws in the study including how they choose the test group. After reevaluating the study and policy changes the determined that putting people in jail for pot busts lead to increased heroin use. They changed their policy again, fining people for pot instead of jailing them and heroin use declined rapidly to pre-1970 levels. The original study was widely distributed and distorted by the "war on drugs" crews. For an better understanding of how pot became illegal read Jack Herer's "The Emperor Wears No Clothes" which covers factors involved including the late 19th century opium trade, the invention of the cotton gin leading to the fall of hemp and Napoleon's problem with acquiring enough hemp for world conquest (a 90 ton ship of the line used 60 tons of hemp products). BTW more recent research shows alcohol is a true gateway drug.
