Bank of America is awful. A few years ago, I was working for a woman who always paid me with a B-of-A check. It got to the point where the bank wanted me to open an account to cash the checks. I opted for the free checking account. It wasn't free, so I canceled and opened up another free account. That wasn't free, so I canceled and opened another free account. At some point, I had a free checking account, but I had also paid several months of fees.

Last month, I accepted a B-of-A offer of a credit card with no interest till 2015, so I figured I'd give it a try. So far, they haven't charge me interest, but I don't trust them. Last week, I got another offer. If I make four purchases with the card - any kid of purchase - within a month, I'll get $20 credit on my account. I don't believe that, but I've made three purchases so far. Just like the free checking, I know there is a way they can avoid paying me the $20. I'll keep you informed.

Here's an odd one. I did a search on Gmail for an email a friend said he sent me. Searching the Inbox showed me six emails from over a year ago. I can click on them and read them. Clicking on Trash showed six emails from this year. I have 4,500 emails in trash, but only going back to August of this year. How can I read emails from over a year ago? Is Gmail storing them somewhere?

Got it! I clicked on "All Mail" in the left column, and I had 2,675 emails with several from 2018 and 2019. I deleted most of the files from "All Mail," and they went into "Trash," for a total of 7,139 there. I deleted all of them. My storage with Google has dropped from 4.78GB to 3.94 out of 15GB available.

I was so lucky to be born at a time when I was more or less safe from the scourge of polio. My wife had a card stating that she was a Polio Pioneer, one of the first to get the shot. I assume that I got the shot, too, but I have no recollection of it. I was watching a 1940s movie a couple of days ago, and a little boy had one of those metal braces on his leg, indicating that he had polio. I'm guessing that they added that for authenticity, but maybe that little actor did have polio.

Reading the article below, that was for a Field Trial. Can you imagine the uproar today if someone wanted to give a trial vaccine against polio? There's already a movement to end the requirement for the measles vaccine.

So my husband may be in need of a new computer. I was thinking of giving him my computer and going for a new Mac with the M chip.

First things I noticed is the screen is now 24” not a 27? I like my 27”…..

Next I currently have 4TB storage, 3TB is already used. I only see the option of 2TB of storage on the new ones. Am I missing where you can get more storage? I like having my photos for at least the last few years on my main computer as opposed to an external hard drive.

My computer is the last before the M chips. Is the M chip that much better if I can find one with more storage?
