Great capture! What lens were you using?
Great photos!
Can you tell us what kind of drone you are using?
My original post showed mom Brown Bear challenging a male Brown Bear who had been chasing her and her cubs. These photos show the series from first sighting male Brown Bear to the chase and the swat from Momma Bear.
We flew from Anchorage to King Salmon, then took a float plane from King Salmon to Brooks Falls. You can do day trips although depending on weather you may not have much of a day there. If you want to stay over you need to book about 18 months in advance of your trip. My wife got up at 2 AM mountain time on Jan. 1, 2016 to send an email time stamped at 12 Alaska time. We were fortunate to get a 3 night reservation for our trip the end of July 2017.
Damn, forgot to spell check - thanks for the catch, I can always depend on you guys!
My wife and I recently spent 2 months in Alaska. One of the high lights was a three day trip to Brooks falls.
I own 2 canons, trying to keep it quite so I won't have to register them before going out on a photo shoot
Thanks - very good info to consider
Great shots - this'll definitely keep you sain
Welcome and looking forward to seeing more pics!
Just purchased a Dell laptop with a Thunderbolt drive. Anyone using this technology? Looking for portable hard drive recommendations?
If you have a stop over in Las Vegas the Valley of Fire is a nice loop from Vegas that doesn't take a lot of time and has some spetacular scenary and rock formations
Thanks soooo much - really appreciate you taking the time to put this together!
We're driving from Alberta to Crater Lake, over to Lake Tahoe, then down the eastern side of the Sierras to Mono Lake area. We're going to leave home the last week of October. After Mono we plan to drive through Death Valley and on over to Vegas on our way to Mesa, AZ where we spend the winter months.
Any routing tips or not to miss photo ops would be appreciated.
