Ly ticked off in what they are doing. I bought a d7200, not because it was their flagship D.C. Camera. But it seemed like a nice piece of equipment. Then came the
d500. Which did not bother me. Then the d7500. Which did not bother me. But now they are making new optics with new electronics that cannot be used with the camera that I bought. It is really frustrating that they did this. It seems to be a real screw job. I will keep what I have but I won't be buying anymore Nikon equipment. They seem to intentionally screw people

I am a Canon user- One of the thing I didn't like about Canon is they changed the lens mount after upgrading to digital. I admired Nikon for keeping their mount when they upgraded. I thought it was because Nikon cared about their loyal customers and didn't want to render expensive lenses useless on their newer cameras. Was there any press releases regarding reasons for the changes and are the newer cameras unable to use the new lenses. Or am I not understanding what is happening with Nikon?

Are you implying that "street" means B&W ? I never thought B&W was a requirement for street photography.

I always wondered why they aren't sealed. Seems like a good way to send used equipment as new.
Did the manufacturers ever explain why the boxes aren't sealed?

There is a lot of advice on this forum that if you are not sure what model to buy is to purchase both and after trying them to just return one.

Is that the reason the manufacturers make it difficult to access the shutter mileage?

Seems the best way to be sure is to buy direct from the manufacturer.

DR is the number of stops between the darkest part of the image to the brightest part of the image not counting secular highlights.
