You know, without studying the images they all look pretty much the same. And the subject is pretty generic which does not highlight the quality of any of the lenses. Which goes to show that only photographers pick apart images- :) Now it might be more interesting if you used the same lens (lens equiv) on 4 different cameras.

Gorgeous- I have never seen one with so many stars in front of the Milky Way. It's not a composite- is it?

If you do not do pro portrait/sports work - and with your health, maybe it is time to ditch the 70-200 2.8 for an f4 version. IMO, ANY xx-300 will be a significant IQ compromise for you and your FF cameras.

I use to own that lens - Nikon 70-200 f 4- and I always regretted selling it. Wonderful optics!

Don't get discouraged. It takes time to adjust to a new camera. I have the XT-2 and 23 mm f 2 lens and it is a good combination. The 23 mm lens is the one I always grab first for landscapes. All lenses have a "sweet spot" that they perform best at. To reassure yourself, reshoot that flower (with the Fuji) at different apertures starting at f2 up to about f10. All images need to be at the same distance from the flower and at the same approx effective distance as was the RX10. This will give you a much better comparison to work with.

I don't ask anyone to justify anything. My question is that when we bought our cameras do we think, well it's not all that good but short of anything better it would do for now and I will get a better one when it's available?

True, you didn't. I'm reacting to all the other posts from yesterday and less so from today. My hot spot.

I don't think that I (or anyone else) need(s) to justify why they need/want a new camera.
When did UHH members decide they should be judge/jury re another's purchase habits?
It use to be that UHH members were interested in other's upgrades.
But now, woe be to you if you mention anything about new or the "brown truck" ...
If you chose to keep your 10 year old camera or 20 year old car then that's fine but don't try to influence my decisions with your standards.
There have been many advances/conveniences in cameras that make it attractive to upgrade.
There have been many SAFETY advances in vehicles that make it SMART to upgrade- and in my opinion silly to disregard but hey it's your life...

If it was me, I would send it in immediately and hope for the best while having plan B in the sidelines. Plan B would be to rent the same camera for my trip if my camera wasn't back.

It's can be a little tricky. So make sure you follow all of the steps that Shellback linked or you will be waiting, waiting and waiting some more for your image to show up. :)

They do that in Denver on the one toll road that is there.
That's a lot of lost jobs. My uncle worked for the state of NY in a toll booth and retired with a good pension. The world is changing.
