My 7000 did that so I darkened the lcd screen to match. my d300 was ok, now the 7100 is ok. is your exposure mode set ok?
thanks, this one seems to be intermittent, I can send it back but hate to.
I just received a refurb. D7100, currently a D300/D7000 user. When I review my shot, I have to continually tap the zoom button or the scroll button to get the image to move on the screen. After constant tapping button it will then start to function OK. I did a small wedding last night and during the shoot I couldn't just hold the button to zoom in, had to repeatedly tap it. After the shoot when I was going thru all images, it worked just fine. Am I missing something? Thanks!
this is my experience, maybe a bad copy, I never had issues with the D300. My long term goal is to get the D750, that is why I didn't wait on the 7200. It wasn't a matter of amount of pixels, wish they had a 20 mp or so. If you have neither, why not get the latest version? Got a refurb. for 699. one year warranty from Cameta. My post from another thread -- "I have had the D7000 for two years, had to fine tune all lens to it, they all were much off the mark, telling me a back focus issue with the camera. I have never been happy with it. I do a lot of family shoots, etc. and my focus has never been consistent. Bought a referb 7100 from Cameta, one year warranty for $699.00. Day and night difference in early test shots, sharper, better color. Big test at wedding Saturday. My 50mm had to be adjusted to like -16 I think but no change on the 7100 was needed."
The D750 with higher shutter speed, the faster flash sync speed, other than that it would do me well. Don't need all those fancy shooting selections. That's why I liked the old N80 so well, my first auto focus film camera.
bought the 7100 one week befor 7200 announced, but for the money I think I'm OK
